22GB Getting Started 1 Connecting the Control unit Connect the system connector of the control unit to the SYSTEM CONTROL terminal on the bottom of the subwoofer. Insert the plug of the SYSTEM CONTROL cord, then secure the screws of the plug. Note• Before connecting the control unit, place the subwoofer on a stable work surface that is larger than the subwoofer. • Be sure to place a soft cloth on the work surface to avoid damaging the surface of the subwoofer. 23GB Getting Started 2 Connecting the Speakers AConnect surround speakers to S-AIR surround amplifier (wireless connection) Insert the speaker connector of the front and center speakers into the FRONT L, FRONT R, and CENTER jacks on the bottom of the subwoofer respectively, and insert the speaker connector of the surround speakers into the SPEAKER L and SPEAKER R jacks on the rear of the surround amplifier respectively. 25GB Getting Started 3 Inserting the wireless transmitter/transceiver You can transmit sound from the S-AIR main unit to an S-AIR product, such as a surround amplifier or S-AIR receiver. An S-AIR product is a component that is compatible with the S-AIR function. To use the S-AIR function, you need to insert the wireless transmitter/transceiver into the subwoofer, surround amplifier and S-AIR receiver.
