N O T E Don’ttrytoremovethesescrews.Captivescrewscan’tberemoved,buttheymustbe loosened. 5.Usethehandleonthebottomofthelampmoduletoslideitoutandremoveitfromtheprojector. gToputthenewlampmoduleintotheprojector 1.Removethenewlampmodulefromitspackaging. 2.Carefullyplacethelampmoduleintotheprojectorusingthehandleonthetopofthemodule. Holdthelampmoduleverticallyandguideitintoitsslot.Gentlypressthepowerendofthe lampmoduleagainsttheprojectortoensurethepowerplugmakescontactwiththeprojector’s powerreceptacle. N O T E Youshouldbeabletoplacethelampmoduleintotheprojectoreasilywithoutapplyingmuch force. 3.UsethePhillipsscrewdrivertosecurethecaptivescrews. Troubleshootingissueswithinteractivefeatures Ifyou’reexperiencingissueswiththeinteractivefeaturesofyourprojector,youcantroubleshootthe followingcommonissues. Interactivepenfunction Beginbycheckingtheconnectionbetweenyourinteractiveprojectorandyourcomputer: lEnsurethattheUSBcableisproperlyconnectedtoyourcomputer. lEnsurethatyourcomputerdetectstheprojector. lEnsurethatthepen’sbatteryischarged. lEnsurethatthepen’sgreenstatuslightisflashingwhenyoupointitattheprojectedimageof yourcomputer’sdisplay(notattheSMART logoscreenyf Ensurethatyou’repointingthetipofthepenattheprojectedimageofyourcomputer’sdisplay(notat theSMART logoscreenyfandthatnothingisblockingthepen’sopticalsensorlocatedinthetip.The opticalsensormustbeableto"see"theprojectedimagefortheinteractivepentowork. Ifsomethingisblockingtheprojectedimageandcreatingashadowonthesurface,theinteractive penwon’tworkintheshadowarea.Whenyouwriteonthesurface,ensurethatyourbodydoesn’t createashadowonthewritingarea. EnsurethatInteractivefeaturesareOnintheon-screendisplay(OSDyfmenu.See SMART SLR40wisettingsintheOSDmenu. Ensurethatthepenisnotpairedtoanotherinteractiveprojector.Youcanreleasepenpairingby followingtheinstructionsinAdjustingprojectorsettingsonpage13. Pointerbehavior Yourinteractivepenactslikeamousedeviceandallowsyoutointeractwithyourcomputer.Ifthe computerconnectedtoyourinteractiveprojectorhasamouseconnectedtoitoratrackpad,you mightexperienceerraticpointerbehavior.Useonemousedeviceatatimeandturnthepenoffwhen you’renotusingit.
