Major Safety Precautions1-4 Maintaining the Correct Posture when Using this Product Be careful that adaptor should not be in contact with water and therefore not be wet. • This may cause a malfunction, electric shock or fire. Do not use adaptor by the waterside or outside particularly when it rains or snows. Be careful that adaptor should not be wet while cleaning floor with water.Watching the product from too close a distance continuously may damage your eyesight. Installing the Product2-2 2-2 Installing the Stand Before assembling the product, place the product down on a flat and stable surface so that the screen is facing downwards. Place a soft cloth over the table to protect the product and place the product onto the cloth so that the front of the product is facing downwards. Rotate the stand-body following the arrow as shown Check if the stand-body had rotated to the right location as shown. Push the stand-base into the stand-body follo wing the arrow as shown,when you heard a sound click then you had fixed the stand-base rightly. Install the adapter into the recess on the back cover of the monitor as shown. Stand the set on base and remove the pin.
2-2Installing the Product Disassembly is in the reverse order of the assembly. Push the adapter forward and then rotate following the arrow to get it out. Hold the base and thumbs press the stand body then pull out the base following the arrow. - Caution Avoid lifting the product holding only the stand. Installing the Product2-3 2-3 Installing the Stand for the Wall Mount This product provides a stand mount of 100 mm x 100 mm / 100 mm x 200 mm(3.9 x 3.9 inches / 3.9 x 7.9 inches) that complies with the VESA specifications. HAS stand 1. Turn the product off and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. 2. Place a soft cloth or cushion on a flat surface to protect the panel and place the product down on the cloth so that the front of the product faces downwards. 3. Separate the stand. 4. 2-4Installing the Product 2-4 Connecting with a PC The connecting part may differ depending on the product model. 1.Connect the product to a PC depending on the video output supported by the PC. • When the graphics card provides D-Sub Analog output • Connect the [RGB IN] port of the product to t he [D-Sub] port of the PC with the D-Sub cable. • When the graphics card provides DVI Digital output • Connect the [DVI IN] port of the product to the [DVI] port of the PC with the DVI cable. The [DVI IN] terminal is supplied for the digital (DVI)-dedicated models only. 2. Connect the power adapter to [DC 14V] on the rear of the produ ct. When the product is connected to a PC, you can turn the product on and use it. 3.Connect the [AUDIO IN] port on the rear side of the monitor to the sound card of the PC. Connect your headphones to the Headphone connection terminal. Applicable to the models that have speakers only.

2-7Installing the Product 2-7 Kensington Lock A Kensington Lock is an anti-theft device that enables users to lock the product so that they can safely use it in public locations. Since the shape and usage of the locking device may differ depending on the model and the manufacturer, for more information, refer to the User Manual supplied with the locking device for more information. You must purchase the Kensington Lock separately. To lock the product, follow these steps: 1. Wrap the Kensington lock cable around a large, stationary object such as a desk or chair. 2. Slide the end of the cable with the lock attached through the looped end of the Kensington lock cable. 3. Insert the locking device into the Kensington slot on the Monitor( ). 4.
