MENU button [ ] Opens the OSD menu. Also use to exit the OSD menu or return to the previous menu. MagicBright button [] MagicBright is a new feature providing optimum viewing environment depending on the contents of the image you are watching. Currently seven different modes are available: Custom, Text, Internet, Game, Sport and Movie, Dynamic Contrast. Each mode has its own pre-configured brightness value. You can easily select one of seven settings by simply pressing MagicBright control button. 1) Custom Although the values are carefully chosen by our engineers, the pre-configured values may not be comfortable for your eyes depending on your taste. If this is the case, adjust the brightness and contrast by using the OSD menu. 2) Text For documentations or work involving a lot of text. 3) Internet For working with a mixture of images such as text and graphics. 4) Game For watching motion pictures such as a game. 5) Sport For watching motion pictures such as a sport. 6) Movie For watching motion pictures such as a DVD or Video CD. 7) Dynamic Contrast Dynamic Contrast is to automatically detect distribution of inputted visual signal and adjust to create optimum contrast. >>Click here to see an animation clip Volume button[ ] When OSD is not on the screen, push the button to adjust volume. Adjust buttons Adjust items in the menu.
[] Enter button [ ] / Source button Activates a highlighted menu item. / Push the , then selects the video signal while the OSD is off. (When the source button is pressed to change the input mode, a message appears in the upper left of the screen displaying the current mode -- Analog or Digital input signal.) AUTO button When the AUTO button is pressed, the Auto Adjustment screen appears as shown in the animated screen on the center. Auto adjustment allows the monitor to self-adjust to the incoming Analog signal. The values of fine, coarse and position are adjusted automatically. For energy conservation, turn your monitor OFF when it is not needed, or when leaving it unattended for long periods. Rear (The configuration at the back of the monitor may vary from product to product.) HAS Stand 1. POWER ON/OFF Switch : Use this button for turn the monitor on and off 2. DVI IN port : Connect the DVI Cable to the DVI IN port on the back of your monitor. (SOURCE: Digital) RGB IN port :Connect the signal cable to the RGB IN port on the back of your monitor. (SOURCE: Analog) Kensington Lock : The Kensington lock is a device used to physically fix the system to something when using it in a public place. (The locking device has to be purchased separately.) For using a locking device, contact the place of purchase. Stand Stopper : Remove the fixing pin on the stand to lift the monitor up and down.
Cable Fix Ring: When connecting the cable is finished fix the cables to the Cable Fix Ring. AUDIO IN: Connect the audio cable for your monitor to the audio port on the back of your computer. See Connecting the Monitor for further information regarding cable connections.
Connecting the Monitor Connect the power cord for your monitor to the power port on the back of the monitor. Plug the power cord for the monitor into a nearby outlet. Use appropriate connection for your computer. Using the D-sub (Analog) connector on the video card. Connect the signal cable to the 15-pin, D-sub port on the back of your monitor. [ RGB IN ] Using the DVI (Digital) connector on the video card. Connect the DVI Cable to the DVI IN port on the back of your monitor. [ DVI IN ] Connected to a Macintosh. Connect the monitor to the Macintosh computer using the D-sub connection cable. If the monitor and the computer are connected, you can turn them on and use them. Cable Fix Ring When connecting the cable is finished fix the cables to the Cable Fix Ring.
Using the Stand Removing the base HAS Stand 1. Turn off your monitor and unplug its power cord. 2. Lay the LCD monitor face-down on a flat surface with a cushion beneath it to protect the screen. 3. Remove screws (A) and then remove the Stand from the LCD monitor. Swivel stand
Using ( ),You can swivel the monitor left and right at an angle of 350° to set the monitor lengthwise. The rubber under the stand is to avoid the monitor slide. When you try to rotate the monitor in the state of the power cord or cable connecting to the monitor, the power cord of cable can be destroyed. Tilt angle Using ( ), You can adjust the tilt anlgle within a range of -5°(±1.0) forward to 17° (±1.0) backward for the most comfortable viewing angle. Pivot Stand / HAS Stand
A.Stand Stopper The Auto Rotation may not be supported depend on the monitor model. If you rotate the screen without lifting it to its maximum height, the screen may be damaged because the edge of the screen would hit the floor. of the Monitor. zFor wall mounts that do not comply with VESA standard screw specifications, the length of the screws may differ depending on their specifications. zDo not use screws that do not comply with the VESA standard screw specifications. Do not fasten the screws too tightly, as this may damage the product or cause the product to fall, leading to personal injury. Installing the Monitor Driver (Automatic) When prompted by the operating system for the monitor driver, insert the CD-ROM included with this monitor. Driver installation is slightly different from one operating system to another. Follow the directions appropriate for the operating system you have.
