Screen Adjustment Description Play/Stop Picture Mode You can select a preset screen mode or make your own custom set tings. 1) Dynamic Select to set a sharper visu al quality than the standard sc reen. 2) Standard Select to watch a sharper pi cture when the surrounding illumination is bright. 3) Movie Select to view a picture that is comfortable for viewing an d to save power consumption when the room is dark. 4) Custom Select to view the picture you set using the manual user se ttings. Custom PictureYou can directly adjust the screen settings. (In PC Input Mode, Color Density and Color are not displayed.) 1) Contrast Adjusts the brightness diffe rence between the object and th e background. 2) Brightness Adjusts the brig htness of the screen. 3) Sharpness Adjusts the sharpn ess so that the contou rs of an object on the screen become clearer or blurrier. 4) Color Adjusts the color density so that the color on the screen b ecomes deeper or lighter. 5) Tint Adjusts the color of an object by changing the color to a green or red tone. Screen Adjustment Description Play/Stop Install To support various Installation positions of the projector, horizontally and vertically. Reversed images as well as neg ative images are supported. 1) Front-Floor : Normal Image 2) Front-Ceiling : Horizontal Negative Image 3) Rear-Floor : Vertical Negative Image 4) Rear-Ceiling : Horizontal/Vertical Negative Image V-Keystone You can compensate for a slanted picture by using the Vertical Keystone function. Test PatternA test pattern generated by the projector to be used when Insta lling and setting up the projector. PC Removes or reduces picture noise . If noise is not removed by the Fine function, run the Coarse function to maximum, then run the Fine function again. 1) Auto Adjustment Automatically performs Frequency Adjustments and Fine Adjus tments. 2) Coarse Removes horizontal noise (line pattern). 3) Fine Removes vertical noise (line pattern). 4) Position Adjusts the screen location horizontally and vertically. 5) Reset Returns to the initial status. This menu is only activated in the PC environment. Auto Adjustment Coarse Fine Position Reset Factory Default Resets the settings to the factory defaults.

| Please check the Troubleshooting Guide below before calling for service| Installation and Connection Symptom Solution Cannot turn the power on. When using the adaptor : Check t he connection status between the projector and the power cable of the adaptor. When using the battery : Check t he connection status of the battery and the projector, and the remaining battery charge. The screen is distorted or displayed in a trapezoid shape. Adjust the projector position so that the beam from the projector is perpendicular to the screen. Cannot select an external device. Check if the external device con nector (video cable) is properly connected to the corresponding port and check the connectivity. If the cable is not properly connected, the external de vice can not be selected. Screen and External Device Symptom Solution A blank screen is displayed. Check the power connection of the projector. Check if the input selection is correct. Check if the projector cable is properly connected. Check if the "brightness" is set to the minimum by selecting Me nu > Picture > Custom Picture > Brightness. Check if the external device is operating and check the video o utput settings. The color is abnormal Adjust the contrast by selecting Menu > Picture > Custom Pictu re > Contrast. The picture is dim.Focus the lens. Check if the projection distance is too far or too close. A strange sound is generated by the product. If the sound continues, contact a Service Center, as this might be happening due to a defective part. Lines appear on the screen. There may be distortion when using a computer. Select Menu > Setup > PC > Coarse Settings and adjust the displ ay frequency. The external device screen is not displayed. Check if the external device is operating properly and then che ck if the "Brightness" or "Contrast" settings have been changed by select ing Menu > Picture > Custom Picture from the projector menu. Only a blue screen appears. Check the connectivity between the external device and other co nnections. The screen is displayed in black and white or the color is abnormal. / The screen is too dim or too bright. As described above, check the "Brightness" or "Contrast" of the Menu Settings. To return the settings of the projector to the factory defaults, select "Factory Default" from the menu.
