recording device through the Target List. 
If you select a device that you wish to stop, a message
appears asking if you really want to stop recording.

Troubleshooting (D-Net)
Possible Solution
Only DTVs, STBs, AV-HDDs, D-VHSs and MPEG camcorder
IEEE 1394 devices are controllable.
Other devices will display “UNKNOWN” in the device list. 
Some supported devices may display as “UNKNOWN” 
due to an initialization error.
➔ If a device is supported but is displayed as 
“UNKNOWN”, reconnect the 1394 cable.
If this does not work, this is because the information 
about the device is unreadable due to an internal error.

Possible Solution
This message appears when the connection speed of the 
connected device and the device selected from the Target 
List are different when copying data.
➔ Connect a low speed device between the two devices.

* A 1394 device has a maximum connection speed which will   
be marked near the IEEE 1394 connector with an “S” number 
(i.e., S100,S200,S400). The higher the number, the faster the
maximum connection speed.

Check if the current mode for DTV and STB is set to analog 
by mistake. For AV-HDD, check if the played content has
