    Use Google Latitude to locate your friends on a map and

    Google Local uses your location to help you find nearby 
    destinations, such as restaurants, bars, hotels, attractions, 
    ATMs and gas stations, or you can enter a location. For more

    Maps
    Use Google Maps to find your current location, get directions, 
    and other location-based information. For more information, 
    refer to “Maps”  on page 94.

    Media Hub
    Samsung Media Hub is your one stop for the hottest movie

    Memo
    Create and manage text memos and use Bluetooth to send 
    memos to paired Bluetooth devices.
    Composing a Memo
    1.From a Home screen, touch   Apps ➔  Memo.
    2.To u c h   
    New memo, compose the memo, then touch 
    Done to save.

    Memo List Options
    While viewing the list of Memos:
    1.Touch  
    List to view your memos in a list mode. 
    Touch an entry in the list on the left to view the memo 
    on the right of the screen.
    2.To delete one or more memos, touch   
    Delete, select 
    one or all memos, and touch 
    Delete.
    3.Touch 
     Menu for the following options:
    : Set whether to sort the memo list by Date, Title, or 
    Color.
    : Select one or all memos, touch Send, and then 
    touch 
    Bluetooth, Email, or Wi-Fi Direct to send memos to 
    another device or another person.
    : Select one or all memos, touch Print, and send the 
    memos to a Samsung printer.
     Sync memo: Sign in to Google and use Google docs to back up 
    your memos.
    : Set a PIN number to use to lock your memos.
    : Set the text font size. Options are: Tiny, Small, 
    Normal, Large, and Huge.
    4.Touch and hold a memo thumbnail or list entry to 
    display the following options:
     Delete: Delete the selected memo.
    : Lock the memo or use your PIN number to 
    remove the lock form the memo. Once you lock a memo, you 
    have to use your PIN number to view the memo.
    : Touch Bluetooth, Email, Gmail, or Wi-Fi Direct to 
    send the memo by the selected method. For more information, 
    refer to 
    “Bluetooth”  on page 137.
    Memo Options
    While viewing a Memo:
      To u c h   Memo options for the following options:
     Delete: Delete this Memo.
     
    Color: Choose a color for this memo.
    Lock/Unlock: Lock the memo or use your PIN 
    number to remove the lock form the memo. Once 
    you lock a memo, you have to use your PIN 
    number to view the memo.

    Messenger
    With Google Messenger, you can bring groups of friends 
    together into a simple group conversation.

    Moviefone
    Movie lovers can experience the fun and convenience of 
    Moviefone on their Galaxy Tab. With Moviefone mobile apps 
    and a custom mobile web experience, you are mere taps 
    away from on-the-go movie planning. Browse a directory of 
    movies, check the latest theater showtimes, find theater 
    locations nearest to you, buy tickets in advance, view original movie content and news, and read movie reviews. With 
    Moviefone and your Galaxy Tab, you have movies at your 
    fingertips.
    1.From a Home screen, touch   
    Apps 
    ➔Moviefone.
    2.Touch one of the following option tabs:
    : Displays a list of movies playing in your area. Touch an 
    entry to get more information about the movie.
    : Displays a list of movies that will be coming soon, 
    their release dates, and rating. Touch an entry to get more 
    information about the movie.
    : Displays a list of theaters located near to your 
    present location. Touch an entry to get more information about 
    the theater including a list of movies offered there and 
    showtimes for today.
    : Displays a list of video clips that show selected scenes 
    from current and upcoming movies. Touch an entry to play the 
    trailer.
    : Displays a list of articles about movies, actors, and 
    actresses from the past and present.
    Print: Send this memo to a Samsung printer.
    Share via: Touch Bluetooth, Email, Email, or Wi-Fi 
    Direct to send the memo by the selected method.

    : Allows you to log in to Facebook.
    : Lists information about Moviefone including the license 
    agreement.
    Music Player
    Play music and other audio files that you copy from your computer.

    Music player.
    My Files
    Find, view, and manage folders and files, such as music files, 
    photo files, video files, and so on, stored on your tablet. If the 
    file is associated with an application on your device, you can 
    launch the file in the application.
    1.From a Home screen, touch

    My files.
    2.Touch a folder and scroll down or up until you locate a 
    file.
    Note: You may have to touch one or more subfolders before you encounter files.
    3.Touch a file to launch it in the associated application, if 
    the file is associated with an application.
    4.While browsing files, use these controls:
    Up: Display a higher directory.
    Search: Use the keyboard to enter a search term. 
    The current folder is searched and results are 
    displayed. Touch 
    X to remove the search field.

    Touch the file.
    The Gallery app is used to open the photo.

    6.To view a video file:
    Touch the file.
    The Video player is launched and plays the video.

    Use Google Navigation to find a destination and get walking

    Create and manage memos that you create by typing text or 
    writing with your finger or a stylus. You can even draw and 
    save pictures as a memo. You can also share your memos.
    Composing a Pen Memo
    1.From a Home screen, touch   Apps 
    ➔Pen memo.
    2.Touch  
    New pen memo.
    3.Touch the 
    Enter title field and use the keyboard to enter 
    a title for the memo.
    4.Touch the body of the memo and then touch: 5.To u c h

    of your personal videos stored on your tablet.

    Google Play Store provides access to downloadable 
    applications and games to install on your device. It also 
    allows you to provide feedback and comments about an 
    application, or flag an application that might be incompatible

    Updates to Downloaded Apps
    You can check for new versions of applications by visiting the 
    Google Play Store. Items that have a new version available

    You can also select apps that you would like to be updated 
    automatically. To do this:

    Installed Apps.

    Installed tab to list the Play Store apps
