113 ApplicationsMy Files Access files stored on your device, including images, videos, songs, and sound clips. To view files in My Files: 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Samsung folder > My Files. 2. Tap a category to view the relevant files or folders. 3. Tap a file or folder to open it. Manage Files Files stored in the device are organized into the following groups: • Category : Files are grouped into the following categories: - Images: View image files. - Videos: View video files. - Audio: View audio files. - Documents: View document files. - Download history: View all apps and files that have been downloaded to the device. • Local storage: View folders and files in their storage locations. - Device storage: View folders and files located on the device. 114 Applications My Files • Cloud storage: Contains shortcuts to FTP servers or other cloud storage locations that you have added. - Google Drive: Sign in to view folders and files located in your Google Drive account. My Files Options ► From a Home screen, tap Apps > Samsung folder > My Files. The following options are available: • SEARCH: Search for a file or folder. • MORE: Tap for the following options: -Cloud: Open files in the Verizon Cloud. -Show/Conceal hidden files: Show or conceal hidden files. • STORAGE USAGE: Tap to view memory information for your device. Category Options 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Samsung folder > My Files. 2. After tapping on a category, the following options are available: • HOME: Return to the main My Files screen. • SEARCH: Search for a file in the selected category. • MORE: Tap for the following options: -Edit: Select files or folders. -Share: Select files to share. -Cloud: Select files from online storage. -Create folder: Create a folder to categorize files. -Add shortcut: Add a shortcut to the main My Files screen.
115 Applications My Files -View as: Change the appearance of the files or folders. -Sort by: Change the sort order of the files. -Show/Conceal hidden files: Show or conceal hidden files. Options for Selected Files and Folders 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Samsung folder > My Files. 2. Tap MORE > Edit. 3. Tap a file or folder to select it, and then select one of these functions: • DELETE: Delete files or folders. • MORE: Select one of the following options: -Move : Move files or folders to another folder. -Copy: Copy files or folders to another folder. -Rename: Rename a file or folder. This option only appears when a single file or folder is selected. -Add shortcut on Home screen: Add a shortcut the Home screen. -Compress: Create a zip folder containing the selected files. This option only appears in Local Storage categories. A selected zip folder has the additional options of Extract and Extract to current folder. -Details: View details of the selected file(s) or folder(s) .

Before You Start Exercising This app can be used to monitor your exercise. While moderate physical activity, such as brisk walking, is safe for most people, health experts suggest that you talk with your doctor before you start an exercise program, particularly if you have any of the following conditions: • Heart disease; • Asthma or lung disease; • Diabetes, or liver or kidney disease; • Arthritis. 117 Applications S Health You should also check with your doctor if you have symptoms suggestive of heart, lung, or other serious disease, such as: • Pain or discomfort in your chest, neck, jaw, or arms during physical activity; • Dizziness or loss of consciousness; • Shortness of breath with mild exertion or at rest, or when lying down or going to bed; • Ankle swelling, especially at night; • A heart murmur or a rapid or pronounced heartbeat; • Muscle pain when walking upstairs or up a hill that goes away when you rest. Finally, the American College of Sports Medicine recommends that you see your doctor before engaging in vigorous exercise if two or more of the following apply: • You are a man older than age 45 or a woman older than age 55; • You have a family history of heart disease before age 55; • You smoke or quit smoking in the past six months; • You have not exercised for three months or more; • You are overweight or obese; • You have high blood pressure or high cholesterol; • You have impaired glucose tolerance, also called prediabetes.

119 ApplicationsS Note S Note The S Note app helps you create, edit, and manage all the notes on your device. Sign in to your Samsung account to access your notes in S Note from any device. With S Note, create content by typing, writing, drawing, and even recording voice, video, or taking pictures. Templates are provided to make content creation easy and help keep things organized. Create a Note To create a note with S Note: 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > S Note. 2. Tap the Create new note. 3. Use the S Pen to create content. • Tap MORE > Background settings to add page type, change the background color, and add images. 4. Tap SAVE .
120 Applications S Note Note Tools When creating or editing a note in S Note, some helpful modes and tools are provided. Note: To use your finger to write and draw on S Notes, tap MORE > Settings > S Pen only mode to disable this restriction. • Pen : Write or draw freehand with the S Pen. Tap the Pen icon once to change the Pen settings. • Ta p Favorite pens to save pen settings at the bottom of the screen. • Eraser: Erase content from the note. Tap once to select the eraser. Tap again to change the Eraser settings. • Te x t : Type text using the keyboard. Tap once to select Text mode. • Undo: Undo the last action. • Redo: Redo the last action. • SAVE : Name and save the note. • MORE: View more options for the note. Edit a Note To edit an S Note: 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > S Note. 2. Tap a note to view it. 3. Tap EDIT to edit the note. Note : Action memos behave differently from other notes. When you tap on an Action memo to view it, you can edit the memo immediately.
121 Applications S Note View Action Memos You can view S Notes and Action memos together, or you can narrow your view to Action memos. To view Action memos in S Note: 1. Tap the drop-down menu and tap Action memos. 2. For more options: • Tap SEARCH to search for an Action memo. • Tap MORE for additional options: -Share: Select Action memos to share. -Edit: Select memos to delete, export, or save as an S Note. -Filter by color: Sort memos according to their background color. -Settings: Customize S Note settings. -Help: View help topics on how to use S Note.
