Placing OriginalsPlacing Originals on the Exposure Glass • Do not lift the ADF forcefully. Otherwise, the cover of the ADF might open or be damaged. 1. Lift the ADF. Be sure to lift the ADF by more than 30 degrees. Otherwise, the size of the original might not be detected correctly. 2. Place the original face down on the exposure glass. Auto Reduce / Enlarge The machine automatically detects the original size and then selects an appropriate reproduction ratio based on the paper size you select. • If you select a reproduction ratio after pressing [Auto Reduce / Enlarge], [Auto Reduce / Enlarge] is canceled and the image cannot be rotated automatically. Combined Copying This mode can be used to select a reproduction ratio automatically and copy the originals onto a single sheet of copy paper. The machine selects a reproduction ratio between 25 and 400%.
