Loca tethe Reed Switch (7\f) andth e Mag net(51) onthelef tside ofthe Pulley (53) .Turn thePulley until the Magn etis ali gned with the Reed Switch. Make sure that thegap betwee nthe Magnet and theReed Sw itch isabout 1/8 in\b (3 mm)\b Ifneces - sary\b loo sen the M4.2 x19mm Screw (1)\b move the ReedSwit ch slightly\b andthenret ighten theScrew. Reat tach the Mot or Hood (not shown). Rea ttach the twoBe lly Pan Scr ews (not shown) \bif ne cessary. Run the tr eadm ill for afew minu testo che ckfor a corre ctspeed read ing. PROB LEM: Theinclin eof the treadmil ldoes notchange correctly SOLU TION: a.With thekey inthe console\b press one ofthe Incline button s.While theincline ischang ing,re - move thekey\b After afew second s\bre-insert thekey. Thetreadmill willautomatically risetothe max imum incline level andthen retur nto the mini mum lev el.Thi swill recal ibrate theincline system.
