2.1 Basic Commands Command NameFunction 2.1.1 PON/POF Power ON/OFF switching. 2.1.2 INV/IN1/IN2 Input selection. 2.1.3 AK, EO, MSTransmission/reception check. 2.1.4 GST, GPP, GAD Current set status check. 2.1.5 AJY/AJN Start/end of adjustment using commands.
2.1.1 PON/POF Commands ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Function: Switches the power mode between standby power ON. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syntax: PON[CR], POF[CR] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equivalent function:: Remote : [STANDBY/ON] * Cyclic selection. Main unit: [STANDBY/ON] * Cyclic selection. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These commands switch respectively the standby mode to power ON mode and the power ON mode to standby mode. The current mode can be checked with the GST command. PON: Switching from the standby mode to the power ON mode. POF: Switching from the power ON mode to the standby mode.
2.1.2 INV/IN1/IN2 Commands ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Function: Selects the input. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syntax: INV[CR], IN1[CR], IN2[CR] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equivalent function:: Remote: [COMP. 1], [COMP. 2], [VIDEO] Main unit: [INPUT] * Cyclic selection. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These commands switches the input to the set. The current input selection can be checked with the GST command. INV: Selection of the video input. IN1: Selection of the COMP. 1 input. IN2: Selection of the COMP. 2 input. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: These commands can be issued only in the menu OFF mode. Digital zooming is deactivated when any of these commands is issued.
2.1.3 AK, EO and MS Commands ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Function: Checks the transmission and reception through RS-232C. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syntax: AKY[CR], AKN[CR], EN[CR], EOF[CR], MSY[CR], MSN[CR] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Initial status: AKY, EON, MSY ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equivalent function:: None ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These commands checks operations through the RS-232C line. AKY/AKN: Acknowledgment ON/OFF. These commands make it possible to output ACK (0x06) indicating normal completion or NAK (0x15) indicating abnormal completion as the check signal to be returned after command execution. EON/EOF: Echo-back ON/OFF. These commands make it possible to output the echo-back of input commands. They can be used to check the circuit connection, etc. MSY/MSN: Status display ON/OFF. These commands make it possible to output the current status when the GST, GPP or GAD command is executed. A message is output when the AJY status is activated, the AJY status is deactivated or the set is switched from the standby mode to power ON mode. AKY: Setting so that the acknowledgment is returned. AKN: Setting so that the acknowledgment is not returned. EON: Setting so that the echo-back is returned. EOF: Setting so that the echo-back is not returned. MSY: Setting so that the status data, etc. are returned. MSN: Setting so that the status data, etc. are not returned.
2.1.4 GST, GPP and GAD Commands ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Function: Checks the current status of the set. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syntax: GST[CR], GPP[CR], GAD[CR] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equivalent function:: None. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GST command: Input GST[CR] to check the current status of the power, input, muting, volume, etc. Example 1: Status display in standby mode POWER OFF Example 2: Status display when video input is selected Ver. 1.00A ...1 ID:** INV:SIN/NTS ...2 AOF/VON ...3 AJY ...4 VOL: 8 ...5 DMG ...6 1.
