1) Connect the power cord to the back of the monitor firmly. (Philips has\
 pre-connected

 (a)Turn off your computer and unplug its power cable.
 (b)Connect the monitor signal cable to the video connector on the back of y\
our 
computer. 
 (c)Plug the power cord of your computer and your monitor into a nearby outl\
et.
 (d)Turn on your computer and monitor. If the monitor displays an image, 
installation is complete.

1) Place the monitor face down on a smooth surface taking care to avoid scr\

or damaging the screen.
2) Hold the monitor base with both hands and firmly insert the base stand i\
nto the 
base column....
