MENU on the remote control then select Install > Preferences > EasyLink . Select 2. On or Off. Use one-touch play One-touch p la y enables y ou to p ress the p la y button on, for exam p le, y our DVD remote control. This starts p la y bac k on y our DVD d evice an d automaticall y s w itches y our TV to the correct source, d is p la y ing DVD content. You can p erform s y stem stan d b y using remote controls from an y of the connecte d HDMI d evices. 7� 5 Prepare TV for digital services Scramble d d igital TV channels can be d eco d e d w ith a Con d itional Access Mo d ule (CAM) an d a Smart car d p rovi d e d b y a d igital TV service o p erator. The CAM ma y enable several d igital services, d e p en d ing on the o p erator an d services y ou choose (for exam p le, p a y TV). Contact y our d igital TV service o p erator for more information about services an d terms. Using the Conditional Access Module WARNING: Switch off your TV before B inserting a CAM � Be sure to follow the instructions described below � Wrong insertion of a CAM may damage both the CAM and your TV � Follo w ing the d irections p rinte d on the 1. CAM, gentl y insert the CAM into the Common Interface on the si d e of the TV. Push the CAM in as far as it w ill go. 2. Turn on the TV an d w ait for the CAM to 3. be activate d . EN-32 Troubleshooting 9 This section d escribes commonl y -encountere d issues an d accom p an y ing solutions. General TV issues 9 � 1 The TV does not switch on: Un p lug the mains cor d , w ait for one minute • an d p lug in the mains again. Verif y that the mains cor d is p ro p erl y • connecte d an d that the mains are p o w ere d . The remote control is not working properly: Verif y that the remote control batteries • are correctl y inserte d accor d ing to the +/- orientation. Re p lace the remote control batteries if • the y are flat or w ea k . Clean the remote control an d TV sensor • lens. You forgot your code to unlock Auto Lock Enter ‘0711’ as d escribe d in • Section 5.7 Lock TV channels or connected devices (Auto Lock) . The TV menu is in the wrong language See • Section 6.1 Automatically install channels for instructions on ho w to change the TV menu to y our p referre d language. When turning the TV on/off/to standby, you hear a creaking sound from the TV chassis: No action is require d . Alternativel y , tr y connecting the au d io signal from the HDMI d evice to the TV via AUDIO IN at the bac k of the TV. PC connection issues 9 � 6 The PC display on my TV is not stable or is not synchronised: Chec k that a su pp orte d resolution an d • refresh rate is selecte d on y our PC.
