161 QR34662 Movies are not recognized by application in PC.Make sure the power switch of this DVD Palmcorder is set to “ VIDEO”, “ PHOTO” or “ PHOTO”. The DISC EJECT button is not valid when the DVD Palmcorder is connected to PC.While the DVD Palmcorder is connected to PC, use Explorer to right- click the DVD Palmcorder drive icon and execute “Eject”. The DVD-RAM drive of DVD Palmcorder cannot be opened by PC Explorer or application. Error appears. Disc cannot be ejected.If DVD-MovieAlbumSE is running, terminate it. When the time stamp of file in DVD-RAM is viewed on PC, it is different from the actual recording time.The file system of this DVD Palmcorder is operated on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and time lag information has not been set. With Windows ® as of January, 2003, the time stamp of file viewed on Explorer looks different from the actual recording time. The actual recording time will appear for date/time indication on playback screen. When DVD- MovieAlbumSE is started, “Disc in Drive X: cannot be used” appears.A disc other than DVD-RAM is loaded in drive: DVD-MovieAlbumSE cannot be used for media other than DVD-RAM. Click the “Preference” button in the dialog box, click the “Device Setting” tab to choose the drive where DVD-RAM disc is loaded in the “Drive Select” column, and then click “OK”. An image that should have been recorded does not appear when DVD-MovieAlbumSE is started.Click the “Preference” button at top right of DVD-MovieAlbumSE screen, click the “Device Setting” tab to choose the drive where DVD-RAM disc is loaded in the “Drive Select” column, and then click “OK”. “DISC ERROR” appears when releasing write- protect.A disc that was write-protected using the write-protect setting tool (WPTOOL) equipped with the UDF driver on the CD-ROM provided with this DVD Palmcorder cannot be released on this DVD Palmcorder as is. Use the write-protect setting tool on PC to release the write-protect. “USBNTMAP.SYS not found” appears while installing USB driver.You have designated a folder which is different from that for Windows® when installing USB driver: Designate the correct folder. No USB HS (high speed) connection even when USB2.0 card is used.Make sure that you have already installed the driver provided with the USB2.0 card. You will need to install the driver provided by USB2.0 card maker in order to operate the USB2.0 card at HS (high speed).145 Executing “Expor t” on DVD-MovieAlbumSE will interrupt reading midway.Do not choose “Simple Export”: If you do, reading will stop midway. The internal backup memory battery may be discharged: Charge it.50 No scene can be deleted. Is the cursor placed on the scene to be deleted? If the selected scene (framed in red) exists, that scene will be deleted even if you use yellow cursor to select any scene. Check the colors of cursors and bar graph on the thumbnail screen.98 Disc cannot be removed. Did you detach the battery pack or AC adapter/charger before setting the power switch to “POWER OFF”? Connect the battery pack or AC adapter/charger, set the power switch to “ VIDEO” and then “POWER OFF”, and remove the disc.42, 47 DVD Palmcorder cannot be operated from remote control.Is the remote controller pointed at the infrared receiver on DVD Palmcorder? 164 QR34662 System Reset If the DVD Palmcorder does not operate normally, perform “System Reset”: The DVD Palmcorder may recover to normal. “System Reset” will reset all settings to factory defaults. The date and time will also be reset: Set the date and time again before using the DVD Palmcorder. 1Set the power switch to “POWER OFF” to turn the DVD video camera/reorder off. Detach the battery pack or AC adapter/charger. 2Use a fine tipped pen to hold down the reset button for several seconds. All settings will be reset.
