Charge the Built-in Batter y 
for Maintaining the Date 
Infor mation
There is a built-in battery which is used to save the 
memory of date and time. If [PRESS MENU TO SET 
CLOCK] is displayed when the power is on, the built-in 
battery may be exhausted. Charge using the following 
procedure:
1Place the SD Video Camera on the USB 
Cradle and plug in the AC adaptor. (

ªAbout the SD Video Camera
Keep this unit away from magnetized 
equipment (such as a microwave oven, 
TV, video game equipment, etc.).
≥If you use this unit on or near a TV, images 
and sounds may be disturbed due to 
electromagnetic wave radiation.
≥Do not use near a cell phone because 
doing so may cause noise to adversely 
affect the picture and sound.
≥Recorded data may be damaged, or 
images may be distorted by strong 
magnetic fields created by speakers or

generate whirring sounds. This is normal.
≥After use, be sure to disconnect the AC 
Adaptor from the AC Main socket. (If it is 
left connected, about 0.3 W of current is 
consumed at most.)

≥In a place with drastic temperature 
changes, condensation may form on the 
LCD monitor. Wipe it with the cleaning 
cloth (supplied).
≥Do not push the LCD monitor forcefully. It 
may cause unevenness and malfunctions

≥When the lens is aimed at a subject with 
high contrast, the picture may look uneven
