    Basic Operation
    Remote control operation
    Using the AV mute function
    If the projector is not used for a certain period of time 
    during the meeting intermission, for example, this 
    function enables you to mute the sound and hide 
    images temporarily.
     button
    1) Press the  button on the 
    remote control.
    ▶z The image disappears and the sound is muted.
    2) Press the  button again.
    ▶zThe image and sound resume.
    Note
     z The projector is not equipped with an internal 
    speaker
    
    . The audio is output from the external 
    audio system connected to the  
    terminal.
    Using the Freeze function
    You can freeze the projected image and stop the 
    sound temporarily, regardless of the playing condition 
    of the external device.

    1) Press the  button on the 
    remote control.
    ▶z The image disappears and the sound is muted.
    2) Press the  button again.
    ▶zThe image and sound resume.
    Note
     z [FREEZE] is displayed on the screen while the

    Switching the input
    The input for projection can be switched.

    Press the input selection (,

    control.
    Switches to computer signal input 
    mode.
    Switches to component (YCBCR/

    BPR) signal input mode.
     Switches to S-video/video signal 
    input mode. If either of the input 
    modes has already been selected, 
    switches to another input mode.
     Switches to HDMI signal input 
    mode. If either of the input modes 
    has already been selected, 
    switches to another input mode.

    Using the Automatic setup 
    function
    During signal input from a computer, [SHIFT], [DOT 
    CLOCK], and [CLOCK PHASE] can be adjusted 
    automatically.

    Using the Function button
    The  to  buttons on the remote 
    control can be assigned to any frequent operations to 
    be used as shortcut buttons.

    function
    Displays the setting screen for the ECO management.

    If the  button on the remote control 
    is pressed, the values set or adjusted in the sub-
    menu items will be restored to the factory default 
    settings.

    [NATURAL] The picture complies with sRGB.

     z DICOM, the abbreviation of “Digital Imaging and 
    Communication in Medicine”, is a standard for 
    medical imaging technology
    
    . Although the name 
    DICOM is used in the setting item, this projector 
    is not for a medical use. Do not use the projected 
    images for diagnostic purposes.

    You can adjust the contrast of the colors.

    [DYNAMIC IRIS]
    You can switch automatic adjustment of the lamp and 
    the lens iris on/off. This augments the video to create 
    a video expression with sharp contrast between light 
    and shade.
    1) Press ▲▼ to select [DYNAMIC IRIS].

    projector’s recommended range, you can adjust so 
    the display performance of the projector can be fully 
    leveraged.

    SCAN(R)], [SINGLE LINE SCAN(G)], and [SINGLE 
    LINE SCAN(B)] can display horizontal lines in

    from the top of the screen to the bottom more finely

    be adjusted in the same way as [FULL SCAN(Y)], 
    [FULL SCAN(R)], [FULL SCAN(G)], and [FULL 
    SCAN(B)].
     z When selecting [SINGLE LINE SCAN(Y)], [SINGLE 
    LINE SCAN(R)], [SINGLE LINE SCAN(G)], or 
    [SINGLE LINE SCAN(B)], the display position of 
    the waveform can be set using

    So that the display of individual adjustment screen 
    in [PICTURE] does not interfere with the waveform
