If signals with a number of display dots differing from the data listed above are supplied, they will be converted into signals with 1 024 x 768 dots and displayed for PT- D5700E/PT-D5700EL, and 1 280 x 768 for PT-DW5100E/PT-DW5100EL.Note * 1Character “i” that follows the number of displayed dots stands for interlace signal. *2The symbols used to denote the image quality have the following significance: AA = the images are projected at the highest quality (With XGA for the PT-D5700E/PT-D5700EL; with XGA/WXGA 1 280 x 768 for the PT-DW5100E/PT-DW5100EL); A = the images are converted by the image processing circuit and projected; B = the amount of data is scaled down and simplified images are projected. * 3These signals support the frame lock function. *4The PT-D5700E and PT-D5700EL provide “A” image quality. %&~ @&O .

Also take steps to ensure that the hot air blown out from the air exhaust outlet will not be sucked into the air intake. • Install with clearances of at least 30 cm provided for the side panels to enable the air filter to be removed and re-installed. • When operating the projector in an enclosure, ensure that the temperature of the surrounding air within the enclosure remains within the range 0 °C to 40 °C while the projector is running. Also ensure that the air intake and exhaust vents are unobstructed. Even when the surrounding air temperature is maintained below 40 °C, operation of the protection circuit could cause a shutdown due to hot exhaust air being trapped inside the projector. When designing the enclosure, please give due consideration to the thermal environment surrounding the projector (Figure 2).Attention 50 cm or more Exhaust 30 cm or more 30 cm or more (Figure 1 : Dimensions applying when one unit is used) 50 cm or more 50 cm or moreExhaust 10 cm or moreExhaust 50 cm or more (Figure 2 : Dimensions applying when two units are used) %&~ @&O .
