6.3 External I/O
If you connect external devices such as sensors to the External I/O, and image

7 Other Information
7.1 FACTORY DEFAULT RESET Button
There is a FACTORY DEFAULT RESET button on the side of the camera.
Pressing the FACTORY DEFAULT RESET button resets the camera to factory 
default. If you lose your user name and password, use this button to reset the 
camera.
 To reset the camera, press the FACTORY DEFAULT RESET button for 1 
second when the camera is on.
 The indicator blinks orange, and then turns off for 5 seconds.

7.2 Cleaning
After turning off the camera (see page 10), clean the camera. If the lens cover has 
the dust, image quality may decrease. After taking away the dust on it, wipe it with 
a dry cloth.
Note
 Do not use alcohol, polishing powder, cleanser, benzine, thinner, wax, 
petroleum products or hot water to wipe the camera. Also avoid glass cleaner, 
pesticide or hair spray. They may cause change in the shape or color.

7.3 Setting an IP Address on Your PC
Your PCs IP address can be assigned by following the procedures below.
1.Display the TCP/IP Properties window.
 The steps are different depending on your OS. 
 When using Windows XP and Windows 2000, log in as an administrator 
to access the TCP/IP Properties window.
2.Enter the IP address and subnet mask.
3.Click [OK].
 In Windows Me or Windows 98SE, the PC needs to be restarted to enable 
the settings.

 Finding the IP address and port number of the camera connected to your 
network.
 Setting up the camera automatically.
