    This is used to set the number of audio channels for recording in DVCPRO (25M) or DV compressed recording format.

    Record in 4-channel.When 1394 input signal is selected, the same number of audio channel as that of audio channel of 1394 input signal at the start of recording is recorded regardless of setting made as above.
    LOOP RECThis is used to select whether to perform LOOP REC or not.ON:Perform LOOP REC.OFF:Not perform LOOP REC.This is set to OFF when the power is turned on again.
    AUTO RECThis is used to select whether to perform AUTO REC/STOP according to the recording/stop signal of HD-SDI input signal sent from the camera recorder .OFF:Not perform AUTO REC/STOP.TYPE1:
      Perform AUTO REC/STOP according to the Recording Mark in LTC information 
    added to HD-SDI.
    TYPE:  
    Perform AUTO REC/STOP according to the Recording Mark in SVITC information 
    added to HD-SDI.

    This is selected when non-Panasonic camera recorders are used.When selecting TYPE1 or TYPE2, refer to “Panasonic camera recorder, recording format and Recording Mark” (Page 92).The devices supporting TYPE3 are Sony Corporation’s HDW-F900R and PDW-700. (Confirmed in November, 2008)

    SELECT” is recorded.HD-SDI input: SLTCSD-SDI input: VITC1394 input: 1394 input time code informationOFF:The data is recorded using the time code set on the setting menu “TC MODE” or “TCG”.When this item has been set to ON, it takes priority over the “TC MODE” or “TCG”.

    TC MODE(Only when 59.94 Hz has been set)
    This is used to select the time code compensation mode when recording the time codes of the internal time code generator. You need to set the setting menu “EXT TC REGEN” to “OFF”.DF: The drop frame mode is used.NDF: The non-drop frame mode is used.
    TCGThis is used to set the operation mode for running the time code of the internal time code generator. You need to set the setting menu “EXT TC REGEN” to “OFF”.FREE RUN:The time code runs no matter what operating mode is established.REC RUN:The time code runs only during recording.
    TC PRESETThis is used to set the initial value of the time code to be recorded. You need to set the setting menu “EXT TC REGEN” to “OFF”.
    When clips recorded with 24pN or 24PA signal are fed frame by frame, the lost TC values (not consecutive TC values) are output.

    EXT UB REGENThis is used to select whether to clone the incoming user's bit information, or generate new user's bit information.ON:
     
    The signals are recorded using the user’s bit of the external input signal selected on 
    the setting menu “INPUT SELECT”.OFF:The signals are recorded using the user’s bit selected on the setting menu “UB MODE”.When this item has been set to ON, it takes priority over the setting menu “UB MOD E”.
    UB MODEThis is used to set what is to be recorded as the user’s bit. “OFF” must be selected for the “EXT UB REGEN” item setting. (Page 66)USER: The user information is recorded.TIME: The time of the recording is recorded.DATE: The date/time of the recording are recorded.TCG: The value generated by the time code generator is recorded.FRM. RATE: The information of the frame rate after frame conversion is recorded.
