Other programming Changing the handset name E ach handset can be given a customized name (“Bob”, “Kitchen”, etc.). This is useful when you make intercom calls between handsets. Using Caller ID service I mportant: R This unit is Caller ID compatible. To use Caller ID features, you must subscribe to a Caller ID service. Answering system T he answering system can answer and record calls for you when you are unavailable to answer the phone. You can also set the unit to play a greeting message but not to record caller messages by selecting “Greeting only ” as the recording time setting (page 40).
