You can also set the unit to play a greeting message but not to record caller messages by selecting “Greeting only ” as the recording time setting (page 56). Answering system settings Call screening Handset / Base unit W hile a caller is leaving a message, you can listen to the call through the unit’s speaker. To adjust the speaker volume, press MD N or M C N on the handset, or press Mj N or Mk N on the base unit repeatedly. You can answer the call by pressing M N on the handset or MZ N on the base unit.
