    2(When [SLOW MOTION MODE] is selected)
    Select the menu.
    ≥Press the MENU button to exit the menu setting.
    3Press the recording start/stop button to start 
    recording.
    ≥(When [SLOW MOTION (CONTINUOUS MODE)] is selected)
    If you press the SET button, the recording mode ( / ) 
    switches. (You can also switch the mode during recording standby)
    4Press the recording start/stop button again to pause 
    recording.
    ≥When recording in [SLOW MOTION MODE], the recording will 
    automatically stop after 15 seconds.
    ≥ When recording in [SLOW MOTION (CONTINUOUS MODE)], the 
    recording mode switches to   in 15 seconds. Also, the 
    recording will automatically stop after 15 minutes.
    ≥ Scenes recorded in Slow Motion Mode are indicated with  , 
    ,  , or   (SLOW MOTION (CONTINUOUS MODE)) on 
    the 8-file thumbnail display.
    ≥ Audio is not recorded for scenes recorded in Slow Motion Mode.
    ≥ During recording in Slow Motion Mode, still pictures are not recorded.

    ≥ During recording in Slow Motion Mode, the following functions are 
    disabled and cannot be used.
    j[CREATIVE CONTROL], [ZOOM MODE], [SCENE MODE] and 
    [FACE FRAMING]
    ≥ [ISO] is set to AUTO.
    ≥ [EXPOSURE] is set to   (PROGRAM).
    ≥ When playing back a scene recorded in [SLOW MOTION 
    (CONTINUOUS MODE)], time of a recording date is not displayed. 
    (Example: NOV 15 2013 --:----)
    ≥ During recording in Slow Motion Mode, or playing back the recorded 
    scene, the LCD monitor or the TV screen may flicker. This is due to 
    effect of the light sources such as fluorescent lamp or LED light, and 
    this is not a malfunction.

    and still pictures.

    Record long, slow moving scenes by skipping certain intervals to 
    create a short time-lapse video. ( l84)
    (Ghost Effect (GHOST))*1 *2:
    Record people and objects by leaving a faint ghost-like trail after them.
    (Fish-eye Effect (FISH)):
    Record motion pictures as if recorded through a fish-eye lens.

    will makeup motion picture of 1 second.

    Record with skin softening effects.

    Record with reduced sharpness and increased color.
    (Soft (SOFT)):
    Record with reduced sharpness for a softer image.

    Records approximately 10 still pictures every 1 second.
    The unit records as you hold down the   button, ending the 
    recording when the maximum number pictures in the burst are reached.
    (16M REVERSE BURST):
    Records approximately 1 still picture every 1 second.
    The unit records as you hold down the   button. On release of the   button, it stores the maximum number of pictures in the burst, 
    going back from the moment of release.
    (3M REVERSE BURST):
    Records approximately 10 still pictures every 1 second.
    The unit records as you hold down the   button. On release of the   button, it stores the maximum number of pictures in the burst, 
    going back from the moment of release.
     (OFF):
    Cancel the setting.

    ≥ The Auto Focus works to fix the focus when the   button is pressed 
    halfway.

    By recording while panning the unit vertically or horizontally you can 
    record a 180e or 360e panorama still picture.

    ≥A red cross is displayed at the center of 
    the LCD monitor.
    3Pan the unit horizontally or vertically.
    ≥The red cross will shift in the panning 
    direction. Record in such a way that the 
    red cross and the white cross align. (If the 
    red cross separates from the guide, the 
    panorama still picture cannot be correctly 
    recorded)
