    1 Condensation
Water droplets will form after a bottle has been removed from a refrigerator during the
summer season or in a warm environment. This formation of water droplets is called
condensation. Condensation that forms on printed paper and the printer roller and that has
not yet dried may cause smudging on the printed image.
    2 Cleaning thermal heads
If photo images are marred by
horizontal lines and you are not able
    to print high-quality photo images,
    use a commercially available cotton
swab, approximately 6Ž (15 cm) in
length, to clean the full length of the
thermal heads in the ink cassette
    slot.
•Do not clean the thermal heads
    immediately after printing.

    remove the ink cassette before

    • Do not insert your fingers in the
    ink cassette slot while cleaning
the thermal heads as this may
    lead to injury.
