You can perform recording suited to an anamorphic lens. Motion pictures in 4K resolution 
will be recorded with an aspect ratio of 4:3.

Even when recording uses up the card’s free space, the camera continues the recording 
by deleting the oldest segment of the recorded data.
• Only available when [Rec Format] is set to [MP4 (LPCM)] or [MO V] in Creative Video 
Mode.

Recording Motion Pictures Using a Connected 
External Device
You can connect the camera’s [HDMI] socket and an external monitor or recorder with an 
HDMI cable. HDMI output is contro lled separately for recording and playback. This section 
describes the HDMI output control for recording.
