After Use
After using the camera, it is recommended that you complete the following steps:
1Turn the camera off.
 Check that the lens is retracted.
2Remove the card. (P20)

 If you will not be using the camera for  a long time,

ªOptimal Use of the Camera
Keep the camera away from 
magnetized equipment (such as a 
microwave oven, TV, video game 
equipment, etc.).
 If you use the camera on or near a TV,  pictures and sounds may be disturbed 
due to electromagnetic wave radiation.
 Do not use the camera near a cell  phone because doing so may cause 
noise to adversely affect the pictures

When using the camera outdoors during 
very cold weather, condensation can 
form on the camera and lens when you 
return to a warm place.
When condensation has taken place:
Turn the camera off and leave the 
camera in this condition for about 
2 hours. When the camera becomes
