When entering characters, you can switch between 
alphabets, numbers, and special characters.

Example of operation for displaying a screen:
1Press 3/4/2/ 1 to select text and then press [MENU/SET] to

Taking Pictures using the Automatic Function
(Intelligent Auto Mode)
Recording Mode: 
In this mode, the camera makes the optimal settings for the sub ject and scene, so we 
recommend it when you wish to leave the settings to the camera  and record without 
thinking about them.

of Intelligent Auto Mode or Intelligent Auto Plus Mode.

The Auto Focus Mode is  automatically set to [š]. If you touch the subject, the AF tracking 
function will work. The AF track ing function will also work if you press 2 and then press 
the shutter button halfway.

Recording Mode: 
When [iHandheld Night Shot] is set to [ON] and [ ] is detected while taking handheld 
night shots, pictures of the night scenery will be taken at a high burst speed and composed 
into a single picture.
This mode is useful if you want to take stunning night shots wi th minimal jitter and noise, 
without using a tripod.
