Fixing the Focus and the Exposure (AF/AE Lock)
Applicable modes: 
This is useful when you want to take a picture of a subject outside the AF area or the 
contrast is too strong and you c annot achieve appropriate exposure.
1Set [Fn Button Set] in the [Custom] menu to [AF/AE LOCK].  (P46)

Taking Pictures using Burst Mode

Pictures are taken continuously while the shutter button is pressed.
Pictures taken with a burst speed of [SH] will be recorded as a single burst group  (P68).

and White Balance are fixed at the settings used for the first picture for the subsequent pictures
