To disable the hard disk backup function
Perform the reinstallation procedure. All data in the backup area and the hard disk will be erased.
Conduct steps 
1-8 for “Reinstalling Software” ( page 35). Select [1] or [2] to execute the
reinstallation at the screen for executing the reinstallation.
• When [1] is selected, the hard disk backup function will be disabled.
• When [2] is selected, the hard disk backup function will be disabled, but in this case, because
the hard disk has been divided...

Hard Disk Data Erase Utility
1Turn off the computer and connect the CD/DVD drive to the
USB port.
2Turn the computer on, and press   F2   while [Panasonic]
boot screen is displayed.
The Setup Utility will start up.
If the password has been set, enter the Supervisor Password.
3Select [Boot] menu, then select [USB CDD] and press   F6
until [USB CDD] is at the top of the [Boot] menu.
4Place disc number one of the recovery CDs into the CD/
DVD drive.
