    Playback

    By using the Bluetooth® connection, you can 
    listen to the sound from the Bluetooth® device 
    wirelessly.
    Refer to the owner’s manual of the Bluetooth
    ® 
    device for details.
    ≥ If you intend to use an NFC (Near Field 
    Communication)-compatible Bluetooth
    ® device, 
    proceed to “One-Touch Connection 
    (Connecting by NFC)”.
    1Turn on the Bluetooth® feature of the 
    device.
    2Press [ ].
    ≥ If “Panasonic BTT” is displayed on the 
    Bluetooth
    ® menu of the device, go to step 4.
    3Press and hold [ jPAIRING].
    ≥ “PAIrInG” will be displayed on the unit’s 
    display and the unit will enter pairing 
    standby mode.
    ≥ If another Bluetooth
    ® device is already 
    connected, the connection will be 
    terminated automatically.
    4Select “Panasonic BTT” from the 
    Bluetooth® menu of the device.
    ≥ If another Bluetooth® device is already 
    connected, disconnect it.
    ≥ “ConnECtEd” will be displayed on the unit’s 
    display and the connection will be 
    established.
    5Start play on the Bluetooth® device.
    	≥ If prompted for the passkey, input “0000”.
    ≥ You can register up to 8 devices with this system. If a 9th 
    device is paired, one of the other registered devices will be 
    replaced.
    ≥ This system can only be connected to one device at a time.
    ≥ When “Bluetooth” is selected as the source, this system 
    will automatically try and connect to the last connected 
    Bluetooth
    ® device. If the connection attempt fails, try to 
    establish a connection again.
    ≥ If you switch the source, the Bluetooth
    ® device will be 
    disconnected.
    ≥ If the image and sound are out of sync during playback, 
    restart the playback application you are using. If the 
    problem persists, connect the Bluetooth
    ® device and this 
    unit with an audio cable.
    ≥ “Bluetooth Standby Mode” ( >31)
    For NFC-compatible AndroidTM devices only
    (AndroidTM version 4.1 or higher)
    Simply by touching an NFC-compatible 
    Bluetooth
    ® device on the unit, you can complete 
    all preparations, from registering a Bluetooth® 
    device to establishing a connection.
    1Turn on the NFC feature of the device.
    2Touch and hold your device on the NFC 
    touch area of this unit. ( >10)
    ≥ If the unit is in standby, it will turn on, and 
    “nFC” will be displayed on the unit’s display. 
    Keep the device in contact with the unit.
    ≥ When the Bluetooth
    ® device is paired and 
    connected, “ConnECtEd” is displayed on 
    the unit’s display. Once the registration and 
    connection of the Bluetooth
    ® device is 
    complete, move the device away from the 
    unit.
    ≥ If “ConnECtEd” is not displayed, change the 
    touching position.
    3Start play on the Bluetooth® device.
    	≥ When the connection is established, the playback may 
    start automatically depending on the type of device being 
    used.
    ≥ The One-Touch Connection may not work properly 
    depending on the type of device being used.

    TV & Radio“HDMI CEC”
    This unit supports “HDMI CEC” (Consumer 
    Electronics Control) function.
    See the owner’s manual for connected equipment 
    for operational details.
    Preparation
    Set “HDMI CEC” to “On” (>31). 
    (The default setting is “On”.)
    When the unit starts playback, the TV will 
    automatically turn on and the screen of the unit 
    will be displayed.
    All connected “HDMI CEC” equipment 
    automatically turns off when you switch the TV off.
    Playing music continuously even after turning 
    off the TV
    Select “Video” in “Power Off Link” ( >31)
    	≥The operation cannot be guaranteed on all HDMI CEC 
    equipment.
    You can select whether audio is output from the 
    unit’s speakers or the TV speakers by using the 
    TV menu settings. Switch the audio output setting 
    of the TV to this unit’s speakers.
    When the TV is turned on, this unit will also 
    automatically turn on.
    1 While displaying the HOME menu, press 
    [SETTINGS].
    2 Press [ 3,4 ] to select “Audio” and press 
    [OK].
    3 Press [ 3,4 ] to select “TV Audio Input”. and 
    press [OK].
    4 Press [ 3,4 ] to switch “AUX”, “ARC” or 
    “DIGITAL IN” and press [OK].
    ≥ Select an audio input terminal connected to

    You can preset up to 30 channels.
    Preparation
    Press [SELECTOR] several times to select 
    “rAdIO”.
    1Press and hold [STATUS] to select 
    “LOWESt” or “CUrrEnt”.
    To begin auto preset with the lowest 
    frequency (FM87.9).
    To begin auto preset with the current 
    frequency.*
    * To change the frequency, refer to “Manual tuning and presetting”.
    2Press and hold [OK].
    Release the button when “AUtO” is displayed.
    The tuner starts to preset all the stations it 
    can receive into the channels in ascending 
    order.
    Press the number buttons to select the 
    channel.
    e.g., 1: [1] B[OK].
    12: [1] B[2].
    Alternatively, press [ W,X] or [3, 4].

    Select a radio broadcast.
    1 Press [SEARCH 6] or [SEARCH 5] to 
    select the frequency.

    stops when a station is found.

    unit has no full browser function and all features 
    of websites may not be available.

    NETFLIX.

    1Press [INTERNET].
    ≥NETFLIX can be accessed directly by

    	≥ When playing content in the media, Network Service 
    cannot be accessed by pressing [INTERNET].
    ≥ In the following cases, settings are possible using the 
    Setup menu items.
    – When restricting the use of Network Service

    – When correcting the displayed time (> 30, “Time Zone”, “DST”)
    – When using another device such as a smartphone in  combination with the unit by using a certain app on the 
    device

    ≥ When using Network Service, you cannot switch the 
    source by pressing [SELECTOR] or [ ] of the remote 
    control or use One-Touch Connection with NFC.
    ≥ When using a slow Internet connection, the video may not 
    be displayed correctly. A high speed Internet service with a 
    speed of at least 6 Mbps is recommended.
    ≥ Be sure to update the firmware as soon as a firmware 
    update notice is displayed on the screen. If the firmware is 
    not updated, you may not be able to use Network Service 
    function properly. ( >14)

    ≥ To enjoy high-definition video up-converted to 
    1080p, you need to connect the unit directly 
    to 1080p compatible HDTV (High Definition 
    TV). If this unit is connected to an HDTV 
    through other equipment, the other equipment 
    must also be 1080p compatible.
    ¾24p Output
    When this unit is connected to a TV supporting 
    1080/24p output, movies and other material 
    recorded at 24p* are output at 24p.
    ≥When playing DVD-Video, set to “On” and then 
    set “24p” in “Video Settings” (>26) to “On”.
    ≥ When BD-Video/DVD-Video images other 
    than 24p are played, images are output at 
    60p.
    ¾Deep Color Output
    This setting is for selecting whether to use Deep 
    Color Output when a TV that supports Deep 
    Color is connected.
    ¾ Contents Type Flag
    Depending on the playback content, the TV will 
    output adjusting to the optimal method when a 
    TV that supports this function is connected.

    unit decodes the audio format and transmits to 
    the connected equipment.

    may be static or noisy.
    ¾BD-Video Secondary Audio
    Select whether or not to mix the primary and 
    secondary audio (including the button click 
    sound).
    If “Off” is selected, the unit outputs the primary 
    audio only.
    ¾ HDMI Audio Output
    This setting selects whether or not to output 
    audio from HDMI.
    ∫ TV Audio Input
    Select the TV audio input to work with the HDMI 
    CEC operations. ∫
    Downmix
    Select the downmix system of multi-channel to 
    2-channel sound.
    ≥ Select “Surround encoded” to enjoy the 
    surround sound.
    ≥ There is no downmix effect on the bitstream 
    audio signal.
    ≥ The audio will be output in “Stereo” in the 
    following cases:
    – AVCHD playback
    – Dolby TrueHD playback
    – Playback of secondary audio (including the 
    button click sound).
    ∫ Audio Delay
    Synchronization between picture and sound is 
    corrected by adjusting the delay time of the audio 
    output.
    ∫ Speaker
    Press [OK] to show the following settings:
    ¾ Speaker Distance
    Set the distance between each speaker and the 
    seating position.
    ≥ If you set “Test Tone” to “On”, each speaker 
    will output a test signal sound in sequence.

    Set the volume of each speaker.

    will output a test signal sound in sequence.

    Select the playback method of 3D compatible 
    video software.

    ≥ If “Auto” is selected and the language selected 
    for “Audio Language” is not available, subtitles 
    of that language will automatically appear if 
    available on that disc.
    ≥ Enter a code ( >44) when you select “Other

    ∫Menu Language
    Choose the language for the disc menus.
    ≥ Enter a code ( >44) when you select “Other 
    ¢¢¢¢ ”.
    ∫Subtitle Text
    Select a desired item according to the language 
    used for MKV subtitles text.
    ≥This item is displayed only after playing back a file.
    ∫ On-screen LanguageChoose the language for menus and on-screen messages.
    ∫Closed Caption
    Closed captioning services are dependent on 
    contents, and the unit can display closed captions 
    of both digital and analog types.
    Press [OK] to show the following settings:
    ¾ Closed Caption Display 
    Set whether or not to display closed captions.
    ¾ Closed Caption Type 
    Select the closed caption type that matches the 
    one of the content to be played back.
    ¾ Analog CC 
    Select the channel of analog closed captions.
    ¾ Digital CC 
    Select the channel of digital closed captions.
    ¾ Manual setting 
    Set the display style of closed captions.

    Restore the default “Closed Caption” settings.

    The wireless router connection wizard will be 
    displayed.
    Double Speed Mode Setting (2.4GHz)
    Set the connection speed for a 2.4 GHz 
    wireless format.
    ≥ If you connect using the “Double Speed 
    Mode (40MHz)”, 2 channels use the same 
    frequency band, and there is consequently 
    a greater risk of reception interference. This 
    can cause the connection speed to drop or 
    become unstable.
    ¾IP Address/DNS Settings
    This is for checking the state of the network 
    connection and setting the IP address and 
    DNS-related.
    Press [OK] to show the respective setting.
    ¾ Proxy Server Settings
    This is for checking the state of connection with 
    the Proxy server and performing settings.
    Press [OK] to show the respective setting.

    Select “On” when using Daylight Saving time.

    Press [OK] to show the following settings:
    Remote Device Operation
    Enable to operate the unit by a smartphone, 
    etc.
    ≥ If “On” is selected, “Quick Start” will be 
    activated.
    Setting Unit Name
    Set the name of this unit to be displayed on 
    the connected equipment.
    ≥[BTT466]  [BTT465]  : With the default setting, 
    the unit name will be displayed as 
    “SC-BTT465”.
    ¾ BD-Live Internet Access ( >19)
    You can restrict Internet access when BD-Live 
    functions are used.
    ≥ If “Allow ( Limited )” is selected, Internet 
    access is permitted only for BD-Live contents 
    which have content owner certificates.
    The following items use the same password.
