53 Replacing the Backup Battery The backup battery is installed before the unit is shipped from the manufacturing plant. When the battery is totally discharged, the “E-90” error code appears for 3 seconds in the status display window when the POWER switch is set to ON. “00 : 00 : 00 : 00” is displayed as the TCG time code value, indicating that the time code can no longer be backed up.
