Using the onscreen keyboard 35 Graffiti writing comes with several predefined ShortCuts, and you can also create your own. Each ShortCut can represent up to 45 characters. For example, you might create a ShortCut for your name, or for the header of a memo. See “ShortCuts preferences” in Chapter 7 to learn about creating your own ShortCuts. Importing data 37 Importing data If you have data stored in computer applications such as spreadsheets and databases, or if you want to import data from another handheld, you can transfer the data to your handheld without having to key it in manually.
