     Projection
        Front-Desktop
    The factory default setting.
        Rear-Desktop
    When you select this function, the projector reverses the image 
    so you can project behind a translucent screen.
        Front-Ceiling 
    When you select this function, the projector turns the image 
    upside down for ceiling-mounted projection.
        Rear-Ceiling 
    When you select this function, the projector reverses and turns 
    the image upside down at same time. You can project from 
    behind a translucent screen with ceiling mounted projection.
      Menu Location
    Choose the menu location on the display screen.

      Projector ID
    Allow the RS232 control of an individual projector. 
    Range 00-99. 
      Mute
     Choose the “On” to turn mute on. 
     Choose the “Off” to turn mute off. 
      Volume
      Press the  to decrease the volume.
      Press the  to increase the volume.
    Setup
      RS232
     RS232: Allow RS232 control of an individual projector.
    (Default setting)
     Network: Allow projector control via web browser

    Setup | Security
     Security Settings
     On: Choose “On” to use security verification when the turning 
    on the projector.
     Off: Choose “Off” to be able to switch on the projector without 
    password verification.
     Security Timer
    Select the time (Month/Day/Hour) function to set the number of 
    hours the projector can be used. Once this time has elapsed you 
    will be requested to enter your password again.

    ■ First Time:
    1.	The	Password	is	4	digits,	DEFAULT	VALUE	is	“1234”.	( first	time)
    2.	Use	number	buttons	on	the	remote	to	select	your	password,	and	then	
    press “Enter”	key	to	confirm	your	selection.
      Change Password
    1.  Press “Enter” to input old password.
    2.  Use number button to enter current password, and then 
    press “Enter” key again to reveal next OSD menu.
    3.  Scroll down to highlight Password, and then press 
    “Enter” to activate.
    4.  Enter new password (4 digits in length) using the 
    number buttons on the remote, then press “Enter” to 
    confirm.
    5.  Enter new password again and press “Enter” to confirm.

    Setup | Signal
      Phase
    Synchronize the signal timing of the display with the graphic card. 
    If you experience an unstable or fl  ickering image, use this function 
    to correct it.
      Frequency
    Change the display data frequency to match the frequency of your 
    computer’s graphic card. If you experience a vertical fl  ickering bar, 
    use this function to make an adjustment.
      H. Position
     Press the  to move the image left.
     Press the  to move the image right. 
      V. Position
     Press the  to move the image down.
     Press the  to move the image up. 
    	“Signal” menu is only supported in Analog VGA (RGB) signal.

     Logo
    Use this function to select your desired startup screen. If you change the setting from one to another, when you exit the OSD menu, the new setting will take effect on next open.
     Optoma: The default startup screen of Optoma projector.
     Neutral: No logo is displayed.

    Setup | Network
     Network State
    To display network information.
     DHCP
    Use this function to select your desired startup screen. If you 
    change the setting from one to another, when you exit the OSD 
    menu, the new setting will take effect on next open.
     On: Assign an IP address to the projector from the DHCP 
    server automatically.
     Off: Assign an IP address manually.
      IP Address
    Select an IP address.
     Subnet Mask
    Select subnet mask number.
     Gateway
    Select the default gateway of the network connected to the 
    projector.
     DNS
    Select DNS number.
     Apply
    Choose “Yes” to apply the selection.

    1.  Fill in a new IP, a subnet mask, a gateway and a DNS in the 
    dialogue box.
    2.  Then choose apply and press “” button to effectuate the 
    confi  guration process.
    3.  Open your web browser and type in from the OSD LAN screen 
    then the web page will display as below:
    4. Open “Control Panel” to control your projector. 
     
    For example:  Use Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) web browser 
    to control the projector , the IP address is http: // 
    192.168.0.100.
    Step 1: Find an IP Address (192.168.0.100) from LAN function of 
    projector.projector.
    Step  2:  Select  apply  and  press “Enter” button  to  submit  function 
    or press “menu” key to exit.
    How to use web browser to control your projector
    	When you used the projector IP address, you will can not link to your service

    Step  3: To  open  Network  Connections,  click Start,  click Control  Panel,  click Network 
    and  Internet  Connections,  and  then  click Network  Connections.  Click  the connection  you  want  to  confi  gure,  and  then,  under Network  Tasks  ,  click Change settings of this connection.
    Step  4:  On  the General  tab,  under This  connection  uses  the  following  items,  click 
    Internet  Protocol  (TCP/IP),  and 
    then click “Properties.”
    S t e p   5 :   C l i c k  U s e   t h e   f o l l o w i n g   I P 
    address, and type in as below:
    1)	IP	address:	192.168.0.100	
    2)	Subnet	mask:	255.255.255.0
    3)	Default	gateway:	192.168.0.1
    Step  6: To  open  Internet  Options,  click 
    I E   w e b   b r o w s e r ,   c l i c k   I n t e r n e t Options, click the Connections tab and click “LAN Settings...” 
     
    Step  7:  The Local  Area  Network  (LAN) 
    S e t t i n g  d i a l o g   b o x   a p p e a r s,  I n 
    the Proxy  Server  area,  cancel  the 
    Use  a  proxy  server  for  your  LAN check box., then click “OK” button 
    twice.
    Step  8:  Open  your  IE  and  type  in  the  IP 
    a d d r e s s   o f   1 9 2 . 1 6 8 . 0 . 1 0 0   i n   t h e 
    URL  then  press “Enter”  key.  The 
    web page will display as below:
    Step  9:  Open “Control  Panel”  to  control

     Source Lock
     On: The projector will search specified connection port.
     Off: The projector will search for other signals if the current input signal is lost. 
      High Altitude
    Choose “On” to turn on High Altitude mode. Operates the fans at 
    full speed continuously to allow for proper high altitude cooling of 
    the projector.
     Information Hide
     On: Choose “On” to hide the searching message.
     Off: Choose “Off” to show the searching message.
     Keypad Lock
    When the keypad lock function is on, the control panel will be 
    locked, but the projector can still be operated by the remote 
    control. If canceling this function, use the remote control or press 
    the “Enter” key on the control panel for 10 seconds to turn it off.
      Background Color
    Use this feature to display a “Blue” or “Black”, screen when no 
    signal is available.
     Reset
    Choose “Yes” to return the display parameters on all menus to the 
    factory default settings.
