4-16 DSS CONSOLE Installing a DSS Console(Figures 4-6 and 4-7) The DSS Console gives a keyset user a Busy Lamp Field (BLF) and one-button access to extensions, trunks and system features. 4-18 WALL-MOUNT KIT Installing the Wall-Mount Kit You can use a wall-mount kit to attach any key telephone to a wall. The wall-mount kit includes a mounting bracket, wall- mount screws and a handset hanger. Installing the Wall-Mount Handset Hanger (Figure 4-8) 1. Remove the rubber plug that covers the slots for the handset hanger. Store the plug in a safe place. 2. Insert the handset hanger in the slot provided beneath the telephone’s hookswitch. 4. Optional Equipment 4-19 WALL-MOUNT KIT Wall-Mounting a Key Telephone (Figures 4-9 through 4-11) To mount the telephone on the wall(Figure 4-9): 1. Using the screws provided, attach the wall-mount bracket to the wall in the desired location. 2. Plug in the telephone’s modular line cord. 3. Run the telephone’s line cord through one of the slots in the bottom of the wall-mount bracket. 4. Plug the line cord into the telephone’s 625 modular jack. 5.
