82 Taking a Closer Look: Playback Zoom More on Playback Pictures Taken with Face Detection Function When zooming in (playback zoom) on a picture taken with the face detection function (A26) by placing two fingers on the monitor and spreading them apart (A81) in full-frame playback mode, the picture will be enlarged with the face detected with shooting at the center of the monitor (except pictures taken with Continuous, BSS, or Multi-shot 16 (A58)). •If more than one face was detected, the picture will be enlarged with the face on which focus was acquired at the center of the monitor. 84 More on Playback Sorting Favorite Pictures (Favorite Pictures Mode) Pictures can be sorted to albums. Once pictures have been sorted to albums, favorite picture mode can be used to play back only the pictures in a specific album. Adding pictures to albums makes finding a particular picture faster and easier. Pictures can be sorted to albums categorized by themes such as travel or weddings. A single picture can be added to multiple albums. Adding Pictures to Albums Pictures can be sorted by adding them to albums. 1Play back pictures in playback mode (A30), auto sort mode (A91), or list by date mode (A94). 2Select a desired picture and tap the bottom tab. Display the picture in full-frame playback mode and tap the bottom tab. 3Tap h. The favorite pictures screen is displayed. 4Tap the desired album. The picture is added to the selected album and monitor display returns to full-frame playback mode. When the bottom tab is tapped to display the setting controls, settings can be made and editing can be performed on pictures sorted to the specified album (A96). 1Tap the playback mode icon in playback mode to display the playback mode selection menu (A83), and tap h. A list of albums is displayed. 2Tap the desired album. The picture in the selected album will be displayed in full-frame playback mode. The icon for the current album is displayed on the screen.
