    Select ADVANCED > USB Functions> ReadySHARE Storage. The previous figure shows one USB device attached to the router.
    5. To specify a name that is used to access the USB device or devices that are connected to the router, in the
    Network/Device Name 
    field, enter a name.
    By default, the name is readyshare.
    6. To specify a name for the workgroup that the USB device or devices are members of, in the Workgroup field,
    enter a name

    By default, the name is Workgroup. The name works only in an operating system that supports NetBIOS, such
    as Microsoft Windows. If you are using a Windows workgroup rather than a domain, the workgroup name is
    displayed here.
    7. Enable or disable access methods by selecting or clearing the corresponding check boxes and specifying access

    Access Method
    Enabled by default. You can type \
    eadyshare to access the storage device within your
    netw
    ork. If you change the name in the Network/Device Name field from readyshare to

    Network Connection
    Enabled by default. You can type http://readyshare.routerlogin.net/shares to access the
    USB de
    
    vice within your network and download or upload files. In this URL, readyshare is
    the name that is specified in the Network/Device Name field. If you change the name in the
    Network/Device Name field from readyshare to another name, the link changes accordingly.
    You can also click the link that is shown in the Link column. The fixed port is number is 80.
    HTTP
    Disabled by default. If you enable this feature, remote users can type  https:// /shares to access the USB device over the Internet.  is the

    xternal or public IP address that is assigned to the router (for example, 1.1.10.102).
    This feature supports file uploading only. The default port is number 443, which you can
    change.
    HTTPS (via internet)
    Enabled by default. You can type ftp://readyshare.routerlogin.net/shares to access the
    USB de
    
    vice within your network and download or upload files. In this URL, readyshare is
    the name that is specified in the Network/Device Name field. If you change the name in the
    Network/Device Name field from readyshare to another name, the link changes accordingly.
    You can also click the link that is shown in the Link column. The fixed port is number is 21.
    FTP
    Disabled by default. If you enable this feature, remote users can type ftp:///shares to access the USB device over the Internet and download or upload files.

    If you set up Dynamic DNS (see Set Up and Manage Dynamic DNS on page 114), you can

    vice over the Internet and download or upload files.

    Launch a web browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the network.

    A login window opens.

    router user name and password.
    The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive.

    							View Network Folders on a Device
    You can view or change the network folders on a USB storage device connected to the router.T
    o view network folders: 1.
    Launch a web browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the network.
    2. Enter 
    http://www.routerlogin.net.
    A login window opens.
    3. Enter the 
    router user name and password.
    The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive.

    Share Name. The default share name is USB_Storage.

    . The permissions and access controls on the network folder. All–no
    password (the default) allows all users to access the network folder. The password for admin is the same
    one that you use to log in to the 
    router.
    • Folder Name. Full path of the network folder.

    Add a Network Folder on a Storage Device You can add network folders on a storage device connected to the USB port on the router.T

    Click the Create Network Folder button. If this pop-up window does not display, your web browser might be blocking pop-ups. If it is, change the browser
    settings to allow pop-ups.
    7. From the 
    USB Device menu, select the USB drive. We recommend that you do not attach more than one drive to each USB port (for example,
    through a USB hub).

    Browse button and in the Folder field, select the folder.
    9. In the Share Name field, type the name of the share.

    All–no pass
    word (the default) allows all users to access the network folder. The other option is that only the
    admin user is allowed access to the network folder. The password for admin is the same one that you use to
    log in to the

    6. Select the No radio button.
    By default the 
    Yes radio button is selected. This setting lets you connect and access all your USB devices.
    7. Click the 
    Apply button.
    Your settings are saved.

    Approved Devices button. 9.
    In the Available USB Devices table, select the USB device that you want to approve.
    If a single device is attached to the USB port, the radio button is selected automatically.
    10. Click the 
    Add button.

    11. Select the Allow only approved devices check box.
