This chapter describes the advanced features of your wireless modem router. The information is 
for users with a solid understanding of networking concepts who want to set the wireless modem 
router up for unique situations such as when remote access from the Internet by IP or domain 
name is needed.

Advanced Wireless Settings

Select  ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Wireless Settings:

You can use this feature to turn off the wireless signal from your wireless modem router 
at times when you do not need a wireless connection. For example, you co\
uld turn it off 
for the weekend if you leave town.

Wireless Repeating Function (WDS)
You can set the N750 Modem Router up to be used as a wireless access poin\
t (AP). Doing 
this setup enables the wireless modem router to act as a wireless repeat\
er. A wireless 
repeater connects to another wireless wireless modem router as a client \
where the network 
to which it connects becomes the ISP service.
