❻ Changing Eco Mode/Checking Energy-Saving Effect Using 
Eco Mode [ECO MODE]
This	feature	enables	you	to	select	two	brightness	modes	of	the	lamp:
OFF	and	ON	modes.	The	 lamp 	 life 	 can 	 be 	 extended 	 by 	 turning 	 on 	 the 	 [ECO 	 MODE].
[ECO	MODE]	Description
[OFF]
This	is	the	default	setting	(100%	Brightness).
[ON]Low	lamp	power	consumption	(approx.	 80% 	 Brightness).
To	turn	on	the	[ECO	MODE],	do	the	following:

Checking Energy-Saving Effect [CARBON METER]
This	feature	will 	sho w 	energy-sa ving 	eff ect 	in 	ter ms 	of 	CO2	emission	reduction 	(kg) 	when 	the 	projector’ s 	[ECO 	MODE] 	
is	set	to	[OFF],	or	[ON].	This	 feature 	 is 	 called 	 as 	 [CARBON 	 METER].
There	are	tw o 	messages:	[T OTAL 	CARBON 	SA VINGS] 	and 	[CARBON 	SA VINGS-SESSION].	The 	[T OTAL 	CARBON

❼ Correcting Horizontal and Vertical Keystone Distortion 
[CORNERSTONE]
Use	the	3D 	Ref orm 	f eature 	to 	correct 	k eystone 	(tr apezoidal) 	distor tion 	to 	mak e 	the 	top 	or 	bottom 	and 	the 	left 	or 	r ight 	
side	of	the	screen	longer	or	shorter	so	that	the	projected	image	is	rectangular.
Cornerstone
1.	 Press	and	hold	the	3D	REFORM	button	for	a	minimum	of	2	seconds	to	reset	current	adjustments.
 Current adjustments for [KEYSTONE] or [CORNERSTONE] will be cleared.

7. Use the ▲▼◀▶	button	to	move	the	projected	image	frame	as	shown	on	the	example.
8.	 Press	the	ENTER	button.
9. Use the ▲▼◀▶ button to select another icon which points in the direction.
	 On	the	Cornerstone	adjustment	screen,	select	[EXIT]	or	press	the	EXIT	button	on	the	remote	control.
 The confirmation screen is displayed.
10. Press  the ◀ or ▶	button	to	highlight	the	[OK]	and	press	the	ENTER	button.
This	completes	the	Cornerstone	correction.
Selecting	[CANCEL]	will	return	to	the	adjustment	screen...

❽ Displaying Two Pictures at the Same Time
The	projector	has 	a 	f eature 	that 	allo ws 	y ou 	to 	vie w 	tw o 	diff erent 	signals 	sim ultaneously.	Y ou 	ha ve 	tw o 	modes:	PIP 	
mode	and	PICTURE	BY	PICTURE	mode.
•	 From	the	menu	you	can	select	[SETUP]	→	[BASIC]	→	[PIP/PICTURE	BY	PICTURE].	
The	[PIP/PICTURE	BY	PICTURE]	menu	item	has	the	following	three	options:	MODE, 	 POSITION, 	 and 	 SOURCE.
Use	the	▲	or	▼	button	to	select	[MODE],	[POSITION]	or	[SOURCE]	and	press	the	ENTER	button.

Viewing	Two	 Pictures
1.	 Press	the	PIP/FREEZE	button	on	the	remote	control.
	 The	PIP/PBP	SOURCE	screen	will	be	displayed.
2. Use the ▲ or ▼	button	to	select	the	source	and	press	the	ENTER	button.
	 The	PIP	screen 	or 	PICTURE 	BY 	PICTURE 	screen 	will 	be 	displa yed, 	depending 	on 	which 	w as 	selected 	in 	the 	
[MODE] setting screen.
3.	 Press	the	PIP/FREEZE	button	again	to	return	to	the	normal	screen	(single	picture).

❾ Preventing the Unauthorized Use of the Projector [SECURITY]
A	keyword	can 	be 	set 	f or 	y our 	projector 	using 	the 	Men u 	to 	a void 	oper ation 	b y 	an 	unauthor ized 	user .	When 	a 	k eyword 	
is	set,	turning 	on 	the 	projector 	will 	displa y 	the 	K eyword 	input 	screen.	Unless 	the 	correct 	k eyword 	is 	entered, 	the 	pro-
jector	cannot	project	an	image.	
•	The	 [SECURITY] 	 setting 	 cannot 	 be 	 cancelled 	 by 	 using 	 the 	 [RESET] 	 of 	 the 	 menu.

3.	 Select	[OFF]	and	press	the	ENTER	button.
	 The	SECURITY	KEYWORD	screen	will	be	displayed.
4.	 Type	in	your	keyword	and	press	the	ENTER	button.
