E-37 5. USING ON-SCREEN MENU Setting Off Timer [Off Timer] You can use the Off Timer feature to turn off the projector automatically at a preset time. Eight preset times can be selected:Off, 0:30, 1:00, 2:00, 4:00, 8:00, 12:00 and 16:00. Selecting Lamp Mode [Lamp Mode] This feature enables you to select two brightness modes of the lamp: Normal and Eco modes. The lamp life can be extended by using the Eco mode. E-38 Preventing the Unauthorized use of the projector [Security] A keyword can be set for your projector to avoid operation by an unauthorized user using the Menu. When a keyword is set, turning on the projector will display the Keyword input screen. Unless the correct keyword is entered, the projector cannot project an image. To enable the Security function: 1. Select [Advanced] → [Security] and press the ENTER button. The Off/On menu will be displayed. 5. USING ON-SCREEN MENU Selecting Projector...

NOTE: A keyword must be four to 10 digits in length. The [Confirm Keyword] screen will be displayed. 4 Type in the same combination of SELECT buttons and press the ENTER button.
