Page 41 6-2 Test Mode NOTE:When the machine returns to the Game Mode from the Test Mode, it receives a synchronization signal for approx. 30 seconds. If the machine is set for communication play, (2 player mode), ensure that both 1 and 2 player screens are set to Test Mode before making any adjustments. (If only one game PCB Test Mode is entered and exited, communication will not be established). After making all adjustments, change the screens to Game Mode by pressing the player 1 and player 2 Test switches together. (If synchronization cannot be established within the 30 seconds, COMMUNICATION ERROR is displayed and both screens switch to single play mode only. If the machine has been set for communication play, (2 player mode), any adjustments made to CPU : ID (CLAIRE) will automatically be made to CPU ID : 2 (STEVE). (see 6-2-3 page 43) 6-2-1 Menu Screen 1. Open the coin door and press the test switch. The “Menu Screen” will be displayed on the monitor screen. 2. Operating the Select UP / DOWN switch will step through the tests. The colour of the selected test will change colour. 3. Activat the test by pressing the Enter switch. Selet “EXIT” in each test to return to the “Menu Screen”. 4. After testing is completed, press the test switch to return to normal game mode. Use the Select Up/Down switch to choose the required item then press the Enter button. 3. Use the Select Up/Down switch to change the setting. 4. Press the Enter button to return to item select mode. 5. Select “EXIT” and press the Enter button to return to the menu screen. Note:- The price of play on this machine is set within the Cashflow Coin Mech. Ensure that the Game Cost is set to 1 Coin 1 Credit. The message and password will not be displayed for a 2 player game. (5) To initialize high scores, select the ‘HI-SCORE INIYTIALIZE’ and press the Enter button. Select YES on the new screen and press the Enter button. Only the top 5 ranking scores will be initialized, ranking scores 6 to 10 are automatically initialized when entering the Test Mode.

After setting up communicatio; sychronization needs to be established. After setting the CPU ID on both game PCBs press the 1 player and 2 player Test buttons together. NEGO SYNC appears on the screen for approx. 30 seconds. After communication has been checked, COMMUNICATION OK appears and the game Attract Mode starts.

When the values reach maximum, (Pitch 0128, Roll -0128 and Yaw 0128), the colour of the value will change to green and OK will appear. 2. Press both the Up Select switch and the Enter switch together to return to the I/O Test Menu screen
Page 49 6-2-4-4 Solenoid Test 1. Use the Select Up/Down switch to choose “SOLENOID TEST” on the I/O Test menu screen. 2. The Gun Recoil Solenoid will operate and the display change from OFF to ON each time the Enter button is pressed. Operating the Enter button again will turn the Solenoid Off. 3.
