11 ENGLISHGB SPARK PLUG Never remove the spark plug or spark plug cable when checking to see if there is a spark. Always use an approved test instrument. Clean the spark plug regularly (every 50 hours of run time or once a season). Use a wire brush for cleaning. Change the spark plug if the electrodes are exces- sively burnt or if the plug is damaged.
