Chapter 4 TRANSCEIVER PERFORMANCE TESTING 1.0 General These radios meet published specifications through their manufacturing process by utilizing high- accuracy laboratory-quality test equipment. The recommended field service equipment approaches the accuracy of the manufacturing equipment with few exceptions. However, when the unit is on the bench for testing, alignment, or repair, it is removed from its normal environment and cannot receive commands from its system.
