Installation surface A concrete floor is the most suitable installation surface for a washing machine, being far less prone to vibration during the spin cycle than wooden floorboards or a carpeted surface. To avoid the risk of injury the holes for the transit bars must be covered after the transit bars have been removed. Fit the covers onto the two holes. Then plug the holes as shown with the caps.The washing machine must not be moved without the transit bars in place. Store them in a safe place for future use. Levelling the machine The machine must stand perfectly level on all four feet to ensure safe and proper operation. Screwing out and adjusting the feet The four adjustable screw feet are used to level the machine. All four feet are screwed in when the machine is delivered. Matching the fascia panel to the height of adjacent drawer fronts Spacer bars The fascia panel can be aligned with the drawer fronts by adjusting the spacer bars. Using a socket spanner, turn clockwise or anti-clockwise until the required height is reached. If necessary individual bars can be removed or more added. Fitting the front panel The machine front can be fitted with a door panel to match other kitchen units. If fitted in a Miele kitchen, the door panel can be ordered pre-drilled with the necessary fixing holes as an optional accessory.
