Using the cool pack The cool pack prevents the temperature in the freezer from rising too quickly in the event of a power outage. Place the cool pack in the upper drawer, directly on top of the food. Refrigerator section The refrigerator defrosts automatically. During normal operation, condensate and frost can build up on the rear wall of the refrigerator and drawers. You do not need to remove this, as it will defrost and evaporate automatically with the heat generated by the appliance.
