In order to achieve good cleaning results, the washer-disinfector needs to operate with soft water. Hard water results in the build-up of calcium deposits on instruments etc. and in the washer-disinfector. Mains water with a hardness level higher than 0.7 mmol/l (4° d – German scale) needs to be softened. Filling the salt reservoir Only use special coarse grained reactivation salt with granules of approx.1-4mm.Donotuseother types of salt such as cooking salt, agricultural grade or gritting salt.
