Detergent Dishwasher detergents contain irritant and corrosive ingredients. Avoid inhaling or swallowing dishwasher detergent. Keep children away from detergent. Keep detergent out of the reach of children. Keep children away from the dishwasher when the door is open. There could still be detergent residues in the dishwasher. Adding detergent Press the latch on the detergent dispenser. The flap will spring open. The flap is always open at the end of a program.Add detergent to the compartments and close the container flap. Use one tab or add powder or gel detergent to compartment II and close the flap. If a Pre-rinse is desired, and available for your chosen program, add 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of detergent to compartment I. Standby A few minutes after the last key is pressed or at the end of the program the dishwasher switch into Standby mode to save energy. The indicators and time display (where appropriate) can be turned off and only the Start/Stop indicator light flashes slowly. To turn the dishwasher back on press . Unloading the dishwasher Dishes tend to break and chip more easily when they are hot. Allow the dishes to cool until they are comfortable enough to handle before unloading them. If you open the door fully after switching off, the dishes will cool much faster. Unloading the lower basket first will prevent water drops from the upper basket and cutlery tray (depending on model) from dropping onto dishes in the lower basket. Turbo The Turbo function can be used to reduce the program run-times, in programs in which the option is available. Optimize Standby A few minutes after a button has been pressed or the end of a program, the dishwasher changes to Standby mode to save energy. The indicator lights and time display will go out, and only the Start/Stop indicator will flash slowly. The dishwasher will not switch to Standby mode while a program is running.
