Adding detergent To open, press the latch on the detergent dispenser. The flap will spring open. The flap is always open at the end of a program. Add detergent to compartment II and close the flap. If a Pre-rinse is desired, and available for your chosen program, add 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of detergent to compartment I. The horizontal marks in compartment II indicate the levels of approximately 1 ¼ and 2 tablespoons (20 and 30 ml) respectively. Compartment I holds a maximum of 2 teaspoons (10 ml). Use 31

Turning on Make sure the spray arms can rotate freely. Close the door. Open the water supply, if closed. Turn the dishwasher on. The main menu shows in the display. At the end of a program At the end of a program the optical control light flashes slowly with the door closed. The optical function light goes out one hour after the end of a program. Delay start The starting time of a program can be delayed between 15 minutes and 24 hours. The start can be delayed in 15-minute-increments. When using the Delay Start function make sure that the detergent compartment is dry before adding detergent, use a cloth if necessary. The detergent might stick together and not get completely rinsed out. Do not use liquid detergent when selecting Delay Start, the detergent could leak out of the compartment.
