Press the M ME EN NU U button and then D D/ / E Ebutton to select the Setupmenu. Press the G Gbutton and then D D/ / E Ebutton to select Manual Tuning. Press the G Gbutton and then D D/ / E Ebutton to select Name. Press the G Gbutton and then D D/ /E Ebutton. You can use a blank, + + , - - , the number 0to 9and the alphabet Ato Z. Press the F F/ / G Gbutton to select the position and make your choice of the second character, and so on. Press the O OK K button to store it. Also you can move some stations to other programme numbers or copy a blank station data into the selected programme num- ber. Press the M ME EN NU U button and then D D/ / E Ebutton to select the Setupmenu. Press the G Gbutton and then D D/ / E Ebutton to select Programme Edit. Press the G Gbutton to display the Programme edit menu. The selected programme is deleted, all the following programmes are shifted up one position. When a programme number is skipped it means that you will be unable to select it using the D D/ / E Ebutton during normal TV viewing. If you wish to select the skipped programme, directly enter the programme number with the NUMBER but- tons or select it in the programme edit or table menu. Select a desired programme with the F F/ / G Gbutton or NUM- BER buttons. Any number under 10 is entered with a numeric ‘0’in front of it, i.e.‘0 05 5 ’ for 5. This function lets you select your favourite programmes directly. Please check the SIMPLINK logo. This allows you to control and play other AV devices connected to the display through HDMI cable without additional cables and set- tings. G GAfter connecting the HDMI terminal for the home theatre with SIMPLINK function using the above method, connect the VARIABLE AUDIO OUT terminal on the back of the TV to the VARIABLE AUDIO IN terminal on the back of the SIMPLINK device with the VARIABLE AUDIO OUT cable. G GWhen operating an external device with SIMPLINK, press the TV button from the MODE button on the remote control. G GWhen you switch the Input source using the INPUT button on the remote control, you can stop the operation of a device controlled by SIMPLINK. TEXTSIMPLINK INPUT MUTE TIMEHOLD PIP lets you view 2 different inputs (sources) on your TV screen at the same time. One source will be large, and the other source will show a smaller inset image. PIP function is available in the Component, RGB, HDMI mode. (But, it can’t adjust 480i/576i resolution of Component mode.) Programme Selection for Sub Picture Press the PIP PR +/- button to select a programme for the sub picture. The selected programme number is displayed just below the programme number of main picture. Watching PIP/Double Window Press the P PI IP P button to access the sub picture. Each press of PIP changes the PIP options. PIP ModeDW Mode PIP Off
PICTURE CONTROL 47 Sub Picture Size Adjustment (PIP mode only) Press the S SI IZ ZE E button to adjust the sub picture size. With S SI IZ ZE E button in PIP mode, sub picture is adjusted. Moving the Sub Picture (PIP mode only) Press the P PO OS SI IT TI IO ON N button. Repeatedly press the P PO OS SI IT TI IO ON N button then sub picture moves. Input Source Selection for Sub Picture Press the P PI IP P I IN NP PU UT T button to select the input source for the sub picture. Each press of P PI IP P I IN NP PU UT T button is pressed, each input source for the sub picture is displayed. (Sub picture can be selected only TV, AV1, AV2)
