General Information
This chapter explains the connector specifications of parallel, USB, and 
network interfaces.
Parallel Interface
The printer provides high-speed data transmission on a parallel

Automatic IP address resolution
This feature is compatible with the DHCP/DHCPv6 protocol and allows 
the printer to automatically receive IP addresses from the 
DHCP/DHCPv6 server. 
Management using Web browsers

This is a standard used when connecting a printer to a computer, and 
was established by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers in 
1994.
IP Address (Internet Protocol Address)
The Internet Protocol address is a unique number that represents a 
specific computer in a network. The format of an IP Address is four 
numbers separated by dots, e.g. 192.168.110.171. Each number should 
be a decimal between 0 and 255.

Sleep mode
This mode is provided to save power. It is activated when the machine is 
not used for a preset period of time. In this mode, power is reduced to 
the minimum. The default setting can be changed.
