33 6Care and Maintenance General Care Keep the printer dock, accessories and supplies away from high temperatures, humidity and direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Support the printer dock and tray by placing it on a flat, level surface. Do not block the air vents. Avoid blocking the back of the printer dock and paper tray exit. 34 Chapter 6 Cleaning the Print Head Clean the print head when lines, streaks, or scratches appear on the prints. The head cleaning tool can be used several times, but should be replaced when the cleaning pad appears soiled or is no longer effective. 35 Chapter 6 Clearing a Paper Jam If a paper jam occurs, the Paper light flashes red.(see Indicator Lights and Buttons, page 9).
