Using Kodak Perfect Touch technology Kodak Perfect Touch technology helps ensure better, brighter pictures. 1Press the Review button, then to find previous/next picture. 2Press the Menu button. Press to highlight Edit Picture, then press OK. 3Press to highlight Perfect Touch tech., then press OK. The enhancement is previewed in a split screen. Press to view other parts of the picture. 4Press OK. Follow the screen prompts to replace the original picture or to save the enhanced picture as a new one. 16www.kodak.com/go/support Working with pictures/videos Cropping pictures You can crop a picture so that only the desired portion of the picture remains. 1Press the Review button, then to find a picture. 2Press the Menu button. Press to highlight Edit Picture, then press OK. 3Press to highlight Crop, then press OK. 4Press Telephoto (T) to zoom in, or to move the crop box. Press OK. 5Follow the screen prompts. The picture is cropped and saved as a new one. The original is saved. (Cropped pictures cannot be cropped again.) Press the Menu button to exit the menu. Rotating pictures You can change a picture to display in portrait or landscape orientation. 1Press the Review button, then to find previous/next picture. 2Press the Menu button. Press to highlight Edit Picture, then press OK. 3Press to highlight Rotate Picture, then press OK. 4Press to highlight an option: Rotate Right—rotates the picture 90 degrees clockwise . Rotate Left—rotates the picture 90 degrees counterclockwise . 5Press OK. Follow the screen prompts to replace the original picture or to save the rotated picture as a new one. Working with pictures/videos www.kodak.com/go/support 17 Editing videos Making a picture from a video You can choose a single frame from a video, then make a picture suitable for printing. 1Press the Review button, then to find a video. 2Press the Menu button. Press to highlight Edit Video, then press OK. 3Press to highlight Make Picture, then press OK. 4Press OK to select a video frame. 5Follow the screen prompts to save the picture. A picture is created. (The original video is saved.) Press the Menu button to exit the menu. Trimming a video You can delete an unwanted portion from the beginning or end of a video. 1Press the Review button, then to find a video. 2Press the Menu button. Press to highlight Edit Video, then press OK. 3Press to highlight Trim, then press OK. 4Follow the screen prompts. (Use fast-forward and fast-reverse, if needed.) The video is trimmed. 18www.kodak.com/go/support Working with pictures/videos Making a video action print From a video, you can make a 4-, 9-, or 16-up picture, suitable for a 4 x 6-inch (10 x 15 cm) print. 1Press the Review button, then to find a video. 2Press the Menu button. Press to highlight Edit Video, then press OK. 3Press to highlight Video Action Print, then press OK. 4Choose an option, then press OK. Auto options: The camera includes the first and last frames, then 2, 7, or 14 equally spaced frames. Manual options: You choose the first and last frames; the camera chooses 2, 7, or 14 equally spaced frames. Press the Menu button to exit the menu. Running a slide show Use Slide Show to display your pictures/videos on the LCD. Starting the slide show 1Press the Review button, then the Menu button. 2Press to highlight Slide Show, then press OK. 3Press to highlight Begin Show, then press OK. Working with pictures/videos www.kodak.com/go/support 19 Changing the slide show display interval The default interval setting displays each picture for 5 seconds. You can set the display interval from 3–60 seconds. 1On the Slide Show menu, press to highlight Interval, then press OK. 2Select a display interval. To scroll through the seconds quickly, press and hold . 3Press OK. The interval setting remains until you change it. Running a continuous slide show loop When you turn on Loop, the slide show is continuously repeated. 1On the Slide Show menu, press to highlight Loop, then press OK. 2Press to highlight On, then press OK. 3Press to highlight Begin Show, then press OK. The slide show repeats until you press OK or until battery power is exhausted. The loop feature remains until you change it. Copying pictures/videos You can copy pictures/videos from a card to internal memory or from internal memory to a card. Before you copy, make sure that: A card is inserted in the camera. NOTE: Pictures/videos are copied, not moved. To remove pictures/videos from the original location after copying, delete them (see page 14). Tags that you applied for print, email, and favorites are not copied. Protection settings are not copied. To apply protection to a picture/video, see page 14. Viewing pictures by date, Favorites, or other tag If you have many pictures on your camera or card, you can sort them so that all or only some are visible at a time. You can sort by the date a picture was taken or—if you’ve tagged pictures with a Favorites tag or tag that you created—you can sort by tag. 1Press the Review button, then the Menu button. 2Press to highlight View by, then press the OK button. 3Press to choose an option (All, Date, Tag, or Favorites), then to select a folder. Pictures are displayed in multi-up view. Press to view them. Press the Telephoto (T) button to view the picture full-screen. Press the Wide Angle (W) button to return to multi-up view. Working with pictures/videos www.kodak.com/go/support 21 Selecting multiple pictures/videos Use the multi-select feature when you have two or more pictures/videos to print, transfer, delete, etc. Multi-select is used most effectively in Multi-Up mode, page 13. 1Press the Review button, then to find a picture/video. 2Press the OK button to select pictures/videos. A check mark appears on the picture. You can now print, transfer, delete, etc. the selected pictures. You can press OK a second time to remove a check mark. Green—Picture is sharp enough for an acceptable 4 x 6-inch (10 x 15 cm) print. Yellow—Picture may be sharp enough for an acceptable 4 x 6-inch (10 x 15 cm) print or sharpness is not determined. Some settings remain until you change them; others, until you change modes or turn off the camera. Some modes offer limited settings.
